What is the benefit of wall mounting? Mainly to make the area kid-proof?
Honestly? I just like the way it looks and think it would improve the room.
I recently did this. I live in a small cabin, and it helped me to reclaim some space. As long as you can angle it downward (as I assume most mounts allow), it's totally fine.My main tip is don't put the TV too high on the wall. I see so many people mounting their TV above head height (from a seated position).
How the heck do you upload photos on here now? I can't anything to work lol. Thanks
Thats what's not working for me. Clearly doing something wrong I guess lol.Just use imgur.com. Upload you photo there and then copy the link and paste it here.
I love it! :3
Thank you, maybe i'll post some more at a later stage! Now I'm interested on your apartment lol, if you have more pictures of before and after please do share, from the picture where your tv is on the wall it looks you did a fantastic job!
That was a big reason for me. Also, a lot of big TVs don't swivel. Most of the time I keep it parallel to the wall, but if we have guests, I aim it at the nexus of the sectional. What is the benefit of wall mounting? Mainly to make the area kid-proof?

This looks like the "floating" A/V cabinets
I was checking out at Best Buy. How do you like it? Thinking about going this route with IR repeaters.
