Nope, I did not know (thought it would be something with lag). But I have experienced it in co-op classic DOOM / Duke Nukem 3D on accident.

Loved setting up a translocator "beacon" in the enemy base on CTF in UT2004, and on those rare occasions where someone was standing on it, boom, they are quickly one man down and I'm already out the door with their flag.
