I'll sometimes go 3-5 days with no meat, and sometimes I'll eat meat 3 times a day. Just depends on the day.

Usually I'll have chicken in my dinner in some way, and I cook for leftovers so I might have some for lunch the next day.

No way. Three times a day, WTF?
Was expecting ERA to eat less meat, given how worried we rightly are about climate change.

No poll option for me.

I eat a 'main' portion of meat once a week (occasionally twice), but also do a little bacon on my weekend breakfasts (two strips each day, but I'll go a month between buying packages of bacon).

The portions I do eat is usually fish and one other lower-impact meat like chicken. Beef I'll have once every 3-4 months as a treat.

I guess it really depends on what I've been cooking. So at any given day I could eat anywhere between 0 and 3 meals with meat.

Bacon, ham, sausage are all pretty typical breakfast foods

Only in Commonwealth countries; that's why it's called an English breakfast. Here in Spain most people would be shocked at someone eating that for breakfast, and consider them a hopeless glutton.

(not saying it's actually better or worse than milk, coffee, cereals or whatever; just how it's perceived in different countries).

I eat meat in 2 Meals a week (If one Meal is enough to last for 2 days, that still counts as 1 tho ^^)

[And if I´m in a hurry and grab a Wrap with one sad piece of mined "chicken" in it, i dont count that, too ;-) I generally try to avoid processed meat and sausages and cook my meaty meals myself with meat directly from the Butcher)

I don't eat meat for breakfast, basically ever. I sometimes have plant based meats for breakfast. Lunches usually have a little meat in them. Dinner I have meat maybe less than half the time. Plant based meats have been pretty transformative for me in that regard. Tonight I'll be making a bolognaise with beyond meat and beyond sausage in it. It'll be tasty, and my body will enjoy it just the same as it does actual meat. Still, I'll be making fried chicken tomorrow night, and I'll be eating real beef burgers on Saturday. Last night I had beyond burgers.

Once they have a good chicken alternative and a good steak alternative, I doubt I'll eat meat at home much at all.

Only at dinner, though lately I've been working dishes with plant-based alternatives (mostly tofu so far) into my diet. So some days no meat at all.

Are people being serious when they are questioning meat for breakfast?

Bacon? Sausage? Black pudding? These items are literally primarily consumed for breakfast.

Breakfast: No
Lunch: Usually
Dinner: Sometimes but depends on if we are counting seafood/fish

I think meat at breakfast has become pretty unpopular in recent years. It's not very healthy and wasn't the whole concept of bacon for breakfast propaganda by the bacon industry?

I pretty much eat meat every day, but not always. More often than not, though. Eating meat during breakfast isn't that unusual, either, since I am partial to a bacon sandwich to start the day.

It just depends. Some days I'll eat meat in every, or almost every meal, some days I won't eat any meat. I don't have any hard and fast rules about how much or how little meat I'll eat in a day. Basically, "None of the above poll responses" would be by answer. I guess if I averaged it out, it's probably like 1.5 meals per day or something like that.

I'm not strictly meat every meal or no meat every meal. It depends on the day.

Some days I only eat meat with dinner, others it might be just lunch, and occasionally it might be just breakfast.

I eat meat with breakfast the least, mostly because I just don't have time and we rarely keep breakfast meats for that reason. Lunch is kind of a toss-up if I'll eat meat on a given day. Dinner is the meal I most frequently eat meat, but even that's not a sure thing.

I'd say on average I would fall in the 1.25 to 1.75 meals with meat range.

Picturing someone with a turkey leg in their bowl of cereal lmao.

I consciously try not to have meat in every lunch and dinner meal -- of 14 meals a week maybe 5-6 have no meat?

breakfast no meat (at least not on a regularl/general basis)

but lunch and dinner yes, i do weightlifting so it's important (my preferred protein source)

however, I don't eat much red meat

it's either chicken/putenfleisch or fish (usually salmon). with lots of vegetables and rice

I will have red meat maybe 1-2 times a week. red meat on a daily basis is very unhealthy

This post gets it.
Interesting note I watched a documentary on Netflix (can't remember the name) that talked about the gladiators who could get the best of what was available seemed to have been on a plant based diet.

Are these results surprising? I thought there would be more non-meat eaters. 14% is really low.

Up to two years ago I ate meat three times per day, every day. Cold cuts on sandwiches twice per day and always meat in dinner. But over the course of a few months I removed meat from dinner, then from breakfast and then from lunch. Now I eat meat only a few times per month, and usually only chicken out of environmental reasons.

0-3. Usually at least 1, often 2, sometimes 3. 0 days are fewer now because we're feeding a toddler and a lot of our meatless dinners were high in sodium. But my breakfast and lunch are meatless fairly often. Voted 2 because I've been eating sandwiches with meat for lunch recently. Used to do PB&J more often.

I stay on a low carb diet (Atkins level, not keto level) which means that yeah, I'm having meat with nearly every meal. Occasionally I'll just have something like a big salad loaded with vegetables but generally my meals will have at least some meat in them.
