In conversations on the sidelines of a DNC executive committee meeting and in telephone calls and texts in recent days, about a half-dozen members have discussed the possibility of a policy reversal to ensure that so-called superdelegates can vote on the first ballot at the party's national convention. It's also important to note, though, that Tom Perez and Donna Brazile are against this.More likely is a bid to rewrite the rules after the convention in Milwaukee — not for this year's nominating contest, but for 2024.
Fowler said that "there's a great anticipation that after this convention, there will be an effort to adopt the old rules … There are a lot of people who are interested in that."
