Not to mention that not only were the tweets really, genuinely just jokes, but there was no was way in hell that people like Alan Horn didn't already know about his bad-taste past. James Gunn used to be known specifically for stuff like Slither, Super and the PG Porn videos. Lots of people were stunned when Disney hired him in the first place.

When the controversy first came out, I was okay with him getting fired. I did, in fact, think the tweets were pretty disgusting.
