I think 2019 was not the best in terms of OSTs. Yeah I played Death Stranding. It was great if you include Low Roar's songs, but I guess you can't. And without Low Roar, it was just solid? Not so memorable imo. But Disco changed the game for me. Made this year worthy in my eyes. I could picture the moment and the location of every track by listening to the OST. And when the music makes the locations/moments of a game stuck in your mind, you know it's done a pretty damn good job. I could list almost every track in this game, but for now, just enjoy this piece:

Disco Elysium has the best everything of 2019. Fight me too, but you have to do it through a really cool text system.

Hardcore to the Mega my dude.

Disco Elysium is the best game of the year, top 3 games of the decade.

I agree, it's fantastic. Disco elysium can claim to be the best at several things this year.

Not the best of the year (that IMO is FE 3H) but up there no doubt. I loved the hotel song for some reason, as well as the church theme.

I won't, because it does. The game deserves to win best of everything in 2019.

Oh, that's a really nice song...

I'm waiting for the PS4 version and I can't wait to play this game honestly.

Ironically Death Stranding wise, I think the actual straight up Ambient soundtrack is fucking amazing and my favorite of the year. Ludvig Forssell (sp!?!?) I believe it is? All the little Blade Runner-ish queues, the cargo loudout screen music, rest music when taking breaks etc., it's really fantastic stuff for me as an Ambient music fan generally.

And if I could, I would nominate RE2 Remake's Classic OST, boom.

I love me some Disco but Dicey Dungeons OST is straight banger after banger.

Shadowbringers for sure.
In Disco Elysium I can actually just remember the main song playing in the first act of the game as you are investigating the thing on the tree. Oh, and the karaoke.

It's a very evocative soundtrack, but I actually found it quite grating in parts. Especially that really loud horn blare that plays every time you leave the hotel in the starting area.

Not my favorite in a year with Ace Combat 7, Darksiders Genesis and Death Stranding, but Disco Elysium definitely has a great ambience to its music that fits the game well and plays a big part in the overall atmosphere. Good stuff!

I had a great time playing Disco Elysium, but the OST didn't particularly stand out to me.

I honestly feel like putting something else on while playing DE. The music is generally sparse and reserved.

I loved it, this is my favourite track. So chill, melancholy but also hopeful:

I love this game to death but I think Stranding's stood out a lot more to me in context with the story beats. The single that plays during the final mission (BB's Theme) is really good, particularly with the lyrics. One of the more emotional moments I've experienced in a game.

Boneworks has a surprisingly well done ost that deserves more love. It really enhances the atmosphere of the game's meta virtual environments, and some tracks are downright creepy and elevates the sinister dystopian undertones going on in the simulation.
