DIRT 5 looks so fucking good, one of the last few games of 2020 I'm pumped for. Heavy DiRT 2 vibes.

It wasn't moved. The Xbox Series version was just confirmed as a launch title.

It's still due out for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 6.

Official no, but it's fair to assume next gen versions of FIFA, Madden, 2K will be on those days as well.

PS5 as well.

I want to play at least 5 of those and AC is a maybe. Pretty decent launch after all I would say. Wonder if The Medium makes launch.

Edit: From the latest video published today:

The footage in this video appears to be 1440p 30fps despite the YT video options saying 1440p 60.

If this was captured on a Series S, that's not exactly encouraging. This game runs at 4K 60 on X, it would be a pretty huge downgrade if it was 1440p 30 on S. Even if there's a 1080p 60 mode, that's still not great. If launch games can't hit 1440p 60fps, that doesn't bode well for the performance of this thing a few years down the line.

I might have to get this game. Huge fan of the Forza Horizon series and this seems to scratch that itch while looking crazy good. Does it have splitscreen?

Holy reach Batman, you realize all the gameplay trailers and previews have been recorded at 30FPS right? Way before the Series S was even revealed.

Am I getting old? I'm looking through the Dirt 5 trailers on their channel and I legit can't tell if they're 30 or 60.

This one seems like 60 to me:

It's a nice line-up of games to play on PS4.

Is it me or is that a bad video? Doesn't really evoke "next-gen graphics" and even the framerate seems low.

It's 4K/60 on X but there's also a 120FPS mode.

Dirt 5 runs at 4K 60 FPS on Xbox Series X, gives 120 FPS option

Dirt 5 will look amazing on Xbox Series X!

I think Dirt 5 is a day-1 for me. I've been getting back in the groove with Dirt Rally VR. I'm planning on getting a 120/165 hz HDMI 2.1 display, but I keep vacillating on models. My laptop is 144hz (obviously no video-in, though), and I've played most of the other Dirt titles @ 120ish fps. They play so damn well at higher framerates.

Falconeer is still a crazy-big title for me, personally. I'm probably gonna finish Gears Tactics too, if that actually lands during the launch window. I loved it on PC, but totally fell off with everything else going on.
