didn't they basically lowered the res to raise framerate on series x

is there anything new since then?
ps5 seems better in the vid, but can't really keep track of all the patches.
might get this on sale

In case you missed the very first post in this thread and did not watch any of the DF video:

PS5 visual settings are worse than PS4 Pro
PS5 has a more consistent framerate.
XSX loads faster but weirdly almost 3 times faster than PS5 (Backwards compatibility could be the issue)
XSS : Dynamic 1080p
XSX : Dynamic 2160p
PS5 : Dynamic 1890p

They lowered the res floor on series X to make it run at 60fps but at the same time now PS5 runs like series X before the patch, so unstable frame rate at the expense of higher res floor

huh, ubi being ubi i guess, I'll go with the cheapest option maybe

Not sure if DF is going to circle back to this but the latest update seems to have fixed things on the PS5.
