didn't they basically lowered the res to raise framerate on series x

ps5 seems better in the vid, but can't really keep track of all the patches.
might get this on sale
They lowered the res floor on series X to make it run at 60fps but at the same time now PS5 runs like series X before the patch, so unstable frame rate at the expense of higher res floor
I'd actually rather they take a bit of extra time and release not just a fix for this but maybe do some enhancements, especially if a native version is not coming.

Can't wait to load up my $2.99 PSN version of the game.
I've clocked about ~12 hours since the patch hit and it's pretty good regardless of the missing effects. Going from 30fps without any motion blur to a solid 60fps is a literal game changer.
Not sure if DF is going to circle back to this but the latest update seems to have fixed things on the PS5.
I saw they said it would fix the volumetrics. Does it fix the screen space reflections as well?
