I was genuinely disappointed when the version of the first game in Bubsy Two-Fur turned out to just be the SNES version and not the old Super Bubsy PC version.
Could you share your result from those modules? I have the disc here if you just want me to send you the midi files now so you don't have to wait for it to come in. I'm genuinely curious.Wow, I'd literally never heard of Super Bubsy. Have ordered it, looking forward to seeing how it sounds on a midi module. I guess a sc-55 or 88 would be of the time, will try it with those.
I did appreciate the first song of the video, you undoubtedly forced John to play at a gunpoint.I realized after we shot our footage that I was actually wearing the same tshirt as my avatar here on ResetEra, there's so many layers to this video. I think only Knurek will truly appreciate the shirt's meaning however.
No need to, really, as the default MIDI player in Windows uses SC-55 soundfont.Could you share your result from those modules? I have the disc here if you just want me to send you the midi files now so you don't have to wait for it to come in. I'm genuinely curious.

I wonder if they fixed the sub 60 fps performance of Bubsy 2 on Bubsy Two-fur
I agree.Yeah, it's actually a solid game. I really think the ONLY thing missing is a 'ring system' equivalent a la Sonic. It needs some sort of mechanic to allow you to take a hit.
James Pond: Robocod was my personal favourite of the short lived 90s mascot.

You might want to see the thread I made regarding modern PC MIDI, because that is technically wrong.
Kinda curious now how Bubsy sounds played back in an SC-88Pro.
Hey, the more the merrier! Any chance you can record the other songs too?I posted a couple of files in a link above, recorded with an sc-55mk1 and an SC-8820 in SC-88 map mode. I can try the 88pro map mode if you want, though I suspect there wouldn't be much difference.

It'll never not stop being funny to me that the Internet memed Sony into making a sequel.

I know the guy you're talking about but I can't remember his name.has anybody got a link to that video made by the guy obsessed with Bubsy 3D? It's just him running around the first stage and he knows every bit like the back of his hand and points out every glitch.
It's been years so I'm probably misremembering it.

Yes you do, we do it for you guys. And thanks to Digital Foundry, I am now recognized, after 15 years in the industry, for the very best in gaming. That being Bubsy, Alfred Chicken and the Philips CD-i...
