Digimon Vital Bracelet (fitbit like) coming to NA in May

For those that don't know what this is, it's a fitbit like device that you raise a digimon in, your workout and challenges you do will directly effect the evolution path your monster takes and yes it will die if you don't take care of it. (Pics say March, this is for JP only)

This reminds me of the Digimon Digivice tamagochi type thing. I had one that looked like a D2 Digivice where you walked around and encountered Digimon. I think that was the first I found out about DNA digivolution and that it changed by whomever was the lead Digimon.

Wow they are out of stock already. I swear I would wear this to the gym. Seems like good motivation 😂

Edit: it would actually be cool if they could add this to existing smart watches somehow just in case they don't get any back in stock

I have a Fitbit Charge 3 I've barely used for the past year, so I can't really justify buying a new device like this.

But I'd love to have one.

They didn't really post it anywhere and seems like this run will be the JP device (which is fully in english, so no worries there), guessing next run will have more stock.

This actually looks kind of neat, not quite as quality as an actual fitbit but some real than that Pikachu step counter from 20 years ago. Has there been anything like that since then? I'm kind of surprised it took so long to get something like this.
