Nah, we never had consoles when we were really young and by the time we did my Mum would ask my brother and vice/versa.
The only person guilty of buying shit games for me, is me.

I went to Toys R Us and bought Blasto for my brother. I'm sad about it to this day
Yes! I had completely forgot about the game until about 3 years ago when I saw The Angry Video Game Nerd video about it. The worst kind of nostalgia but still, nostalgia none the less.Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (NES) I asked for it though, lol. I think just based on the cover. That was the last game my parents bought me for a long time because I didn't play it ever because it sucked really bad. To be fair, my parents owned a video store so I could just "rent" whatever game I wanted whenever I wanted, pretty much.
We also had Anticipation, but that game was just boring more than it was bad.
EDIT:
haha. I'm betting the only reason my parents bought me the game too was because of some deep discount.
No. No it was not.
I did it to myself and asked for this for Christmas(I really liked the show at the time). To this day I don't know if it was a bad game or not but I enjoyed it enough.
I got King Arthurs world when around 13 years old on SNES. It's not that it was a bad game, but not where my 13 year old self was looking forward to.
You should play Rollergames. I always liked it more than the NES TMNT games. I don't have any real attachment to the licenses of either of them.Holy shit, Rollergames looks dope af. Honestly looks like a more fun licensed Konami game than Monsters in My Pocket lmfao
I still think this is a great game. It sucks that the license messes with its chances of being re-released.
I was gifted that sonic bioware game on two separate christmases
LJN Wolverine. To be fair, I asked for it and regretted every moment of that game.
Did you play NES Punisher? That's an LJN game (developed by Beam) that I liked.I got this too, but I asked for it as well lol
The only LJN games I liked as a kid were Jaws and Friday the 13th. I think they're both pretty cool yet flawed games that could be really great with some QoL improvements and a little more content.

Yeah. I always thought it was funny how you could shoot the saxophone player and he keels over.i didn't even realize it was LJN. its the one that's like operation wolf, right?

Sounds like a win to me
That game is fucking rad.I got King Arthurs world when around 13 years old on SNES. It's not that it was a bad game, but not where my 13 year old self was looking forward to.
I know your pain friend, and I believe I know a worse definition of the word because I got the first of those shitty games.
Yup, me too. And I still played the hell out of it. Dark days.
