Shin'en became an great developer for me after I played and greatly enjoyed Art of Balance.

No. It released on Switch day one, as the first console release and it definitely didn't have any technical issues of that sort.

To the thread, my wife played it on switch and loved it, I tuned in every now and then to watch her play and the game looked fun aside from some frustrating platforming due to the camera.

I tried the demo but it was way too short and easy for an entire world of the game and left the impression that the game itself would be too short to be worth the money. Loved the graphics though, been waiting on a deep enough sale to justify blind buying it.

You are probably thinking of Cloudpunk? The Touryst is a technical marvel as is most Shin'en's catalog.

I played a couple of hours on Game Pass and didn't like it too much. Graphically it is beautiful but little else.

I loved the visuals and general direction of the game. The puzzles were too finicky though and even if a solution was obvious the physics were maddeningly bad and unwieldy. A 7/10 good but unspectacular game.
