I'm toying with the idea of a new PC, and the 3000 series would definitely be on my radar.
But, I already was, and it doesn't affect my console plans.
Indeed, the announcements about I/O make me more excited for the PS5 tech than before. It's nice to move beyond the point where the PS5 was some kind of outlier on that front, from the idea that maybe Sony went overboard for no particular reason. That always seemed quite technically pessimistic to me, and I'm glad it's quite clear now that big and increasing I/O will be a general trend going forward. It should make for a great new front for devs to explore. So that all kind of has a bit of a halo-effect on the new generation for me.
