Do u remember bf4? Xbox360 and ps3 barely had textures. This is how will be ps4 and Xbox one versions. 20-25 fps. Very low settings.
Yeah I don't think I'd want to play on PS4 or XB1, maybe the mid gen refreshes, but even then, I think this is a next gen/PC game for most.
I think the hard surface modelling rivals stuff I have seen in star citizen. They have some excellent tech and prop artists at CDPR.

The 48 min video? It looks alot better then that. Especially the lighting.
I kid. Big fan of both CD Projekt Red and Digital Foundry. If there's any developer who could put next-gen only games to shame, it's probably CDPR.
hasn't it always been to some degree? from the start it's been billed as an open world Deus Ex
I wanted to improve my PC next year but this game will force me to improve before lol, it is impossible for it to run well and beautiful on my 1050.
I wonder if the next gen systems will be able to take advantage of that without the game being updated
yea the footage of the ripper doctor (which is probably the best area to do a like for like comparison) looked much better now

The jump from Witcher 3 is ridiculous.

Almost certainly on current gen consoles.
The reflective surface conversation does make me think RT is going to be a very big ask, even for next gen cards if people want good performance. Wonder if it will even be ready by launch.
Yeah I agree, the biggest downgrade or reduction of QoL I noticed is the lack of NPC crowds
The level of detail for an open world game is insane. Not everything's perfect but as a whole, seriously impressive.
I hope CDPR takes fully advantage of the PS5 SSD. With the amount of assets on display the SSD should help with performance.

So will this game be playable on Xbox One X? I am debating if its worth playing or waiting until I get a PS5/SeriesX
My 980 Ti took a look and noped the fuck outta here.
Looks like an incredible game to play and play again in 2025.
Perhaps they only just uploaded it and the stream isn't available yet, it takes an age to process 4K on YouTube

And both are two "cross gen" games, lol
