It took me a second to realize that this is not about slaying demons in hell with super shotguns and red laser swords
I wonder what happened to those self-published trilogy of games from them.
It's confirmed to be a fighter... so either arena fighter or traditional fighter I guess.

Yeah All Star Battle. That one had a interesting approach, and was not very good imo.

When they first announced the game. They said the genre was "demon slaying battle action game" And in Japan "Battle Action game = fighting game"
Demon Slayer is so good and if they capture half of the visual flair of the show the game will be a looker at the least.

With CC2 at least I know it'll look good. Now whether it's worth playing....that's a different story lol(I'll buy the collectors edition anyway but that's besides the point lol

Knowing CC2 the story might have action based segments like the later Storm entries had. Those felt like a good middle ground between the normal arena fighter combat and a normal action game like DMC

Cast still feels so small for a game if thy go up to the where the anime ended...though I guess 2021, gives them time to include movie characters and if there is an actual season 2 later this year.

Well at least the presentation will be on point, which is more than I can say for other recent licensed anime games.
