I think Bernie still has super tuesday tbh. SC was a glimpse into a 2020 race without Bloomberg. When Bloomberg gets in involved it only drags Biden down with him
Pretty much this. He's genuine and truly believes in the policies he's trying to push. I also believe healthcare is a human right, not something that should bankrupt you should you become ill. I read earlier today that over half of cancer patients lose their entire life savings during their fight with cancer. That's abhorrent and I can't believe how any decent human finds that acceptable(they aren't decent).
I fully support free college tuition at public universities and trade schools. We are well past the time when a high school education was all you needed to get a good job and making a good living for your family. More than $15 minimum wage, getting people educated and giving them the skills for jobs of today/tomorrow will do more to improve their lives than anything else. If we can blow up the military budget by over $100 billion, why can't we make make public universities free? The estimated costs range up to $120 billion, that's easily attainable with a small tax increase on the wealthy and returning the military budget to reasonable levels.
I also appreciate his view and stance on the broken and very racist criminal justice system. And his strong stance against racism and hatred for minorities in general. This is honestly the most important reason I back Bernie, because I believe he will do the most to fight white supremacy and root out the scourge from our justice system and government.
Biden will do none of these things.
Yup... I kind of wish that we hadn't used Obama already in 2008, as he's like exactly the right age for this stuff and has the right charm & charisma. Klobuchar is probably the closest in terms of that middle age / experience, but she just doesn't have the national presence and all.I think the decade or so of Democratic losses from 2010 - 2018 really caused our bench of candidates to be... lacking
There seems to be this hole in the middle of either fresh into congress people who have no business running for president, and long time politicians who are so old and embedded into the system that they weathered the losses and are still around. There aren't really too many potential candidates who have been in congress for a few years, aren't particularly old, and have records that are short enough to show they have records without being so long that they have some unsavory votes they had to make at the time.
I for one, would love that GoFundMe continue to be one of the top sources of healthcare funding in the US. Certainly a great path to be on where no systemic changes in the industry are needed. Just more little increments. That'll do it.
Yeah that's such a weird comment. It's funny that her message is "despite him being right on every issue, he couldn't overcome the incompetence of the rest of us"
Also Klobuchar is a staff abuser with a pretty poor political history 🤷♂️Yup... This is my fear with Biden. The Ukraine story is going to be repeated everywhere.
Elizabeth Warren is not going to be president of the United States.
Reminds me to burn a sack of cash.
It really is a shame that Republicans can win the presidency with any idiot, but the Democrats have to constantly find superstars with perfect records to even stand a chance...Yup... I've had health insurance all my adult life and don't go to the doctor for fear of what it might cost me.It's hilarious that this is even a thing.
I got myself a heavy cut from a mandolin slicer on Monday. I was in and out of the hospital within an hour without anyone asking me to pay anything. This is in Australia.
The fact you have to go to the ER praying to god that insurance isn't going to fuck you is amazing.
They will just replace Hunter Biden with Jane Sanders. That is an area where it won't matter who wins.
You were literally arguing that we should organize a leftist movement across an entire state within the span of an election. This shit takes time, which is why Bernie lost in 2016, but is a potential frontrunner now.i have literally lived my entire life in alabama, so please don't try and lecture me about south carolina and the culture of the southern states. it's also, like, maybe not a great sign for the revolution that you're balking at the idea of leftist organizers working to build solidarity and political infrastructure in the rural south? it's very "better things aren't possible, but from the left" imo.
BidenHarris2020 is trending lol.
The KHive will never move on.
To be fair I do think she has a decent chance of being his VP if he winsBidenHarris2020 is trending lol.
The KHive will never move on.
The only reason they have success grifting is because their base is a bunch of morons and that's who they're pandering to.I think the Hunter Biden story has more traction. All indication is that he's a failson of the highest order, even more so than the Trump children who have shown some savvy in terms of grifting.
US is land of short-term thinking and "fuck you, got mine." Hard to break I guess. But it's still early. Tuesday will be very interesting. It's hilarious that this is even a thing.

a vile, if aesthetically pleasing ticket
Even that may not be true after tuesdayHey now -
If she continues to come in 3rd to 5th then she has a clear path to have a slightly better chance of being president than anyone posting here.
This just reminded me to donate to Tom Nook, the only ethical billionaire still in the race

When the reporting switched that Giuliani was looking for dirt on Biden to "Democrat competitors" I thought something was going to drop. They will just replace Hunter Biden with Jane Sanders. That is an area where it won't matter who wins.

Agreed.I think Bernie still has super tuesday tbh. SC was a glimpse into a 2020 race without Bloomberg. When Bloomberg gets in involved it only drags Biden down with him
I don't really have one.
It would certainly be a look after she went after Biden on busing during that first or second debate.
Agreed.
That being said, I'm not looking forward to all the "BERNIE IS FINISHED!" takes were about to get, especially after everyone was bending over backwards to explain how, "actually third place is the bigger story" before this.

I only got three days to deal with it this time, so I'll survive.Agreed.

yuuuup. This was always Biden's.I think Bernie still has super tuesday tbh. SC was a glimpse into a 2020 race without Bloomberg. When Bloomberg gets in involved it only drags Biden down with him
trump got acquited. that alone makes the ukraine story way more damaging than anything dealing with jane sanders. They will just replace Hunter Biden with Jane Sanders. That is an area where it won't matter who wins.
hes praised her so much and so often since then and has explicitly said he's open to having her either as his VP or in his cabinetIt would certainly be a look after she went after Biden on busing during that first or second debate.
I would rather lick 100 doorknobs in Wuhan than watch Joe Biden go up against Trump.
this is the ideal liberal ticket. you may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
Were you around for 2008?It would certainly be a look after she went after Biden on busing during that first or second debate.
I would rather lick 100 doorknobs in Wuhan than watch Joe Biden go up against Trump.
Also she went back on it shortly after lmao
This race could be over on Super Tuesday. Why? Here's my take:
Because either Bernie will run up the margin in California and have a massive lead in delegates on Super Tuesday or he'll be barely above in the delegate lead in which case I think Biden will almost certainly take over on March 17 (that's when Florida and Ohio votes) and become the nominee.
Sure. Let me tell you about myself. Im 25, married, 3 kids. I'm a union hvac worker in California. Make 90k a year taxable income. Wife has to stay home with the kiddos. So I guess I could be considered middle class. But living in California 90k with house of 5 probably puts be on the bottom of middle class. In aiddition to my killer union retirement I personally stock trade through my IRA's. I plan on retiring by 50 hopefully sooner.
the race will be over on Super Tuesday, when The Klobucharge occurs
