Well that's bad news. He's over performing and yes it very could give him a boost. The media coverage alone will do that. Not to mention potential voters deciding late.

The wonders of a primary. You just have to count ballots like and normal election. Not do complicated caucus math.
I didn't see a problem? He was being graceful. My goodness Bernie, what a bore. I know you lost, but come on. Take a cue from Obama 2008 in NH.
they're booing Bernie lost. they still cheered for BidenPeople booing South Carolina at the rally are fucking hopeless.
Bloomberg and Biden are so easily rattled in a debate that I could imagine Trump actually showing up to those. Same goes for Buttigieg. Hell, I think Bloomberg would avoid Trump if we got down to that nightmare scenario. Warren is a toss-up, depending on how much mileage he thinks he could get out of the "Pocahontas" line.
Straight-up, Bernie is the only one Trump is certain to avoid like the plague.

but these are black voters. they were never going to vote for Pete or Klob. Also Steyer does really well with old folks it looks like, so they probably would've gone to BidenIt would seem that BIden over preforming is Pete and Klob voters reading the writing and going ahead to switch over. Without Steyer in the race, who knows who his voters would have went to. Either Bernie or Biden side could make a case I suppose. The main question is if the % breakdown across large AA voting areas (not in the south) will be enough to over take Bernie.
Guess on ST if the moderate wing does start to go behind Biden (not just black voters), it could be much more mixed in results than what we thought.
Tying a win with young voters? Not bad for a supposed sundowner.
I mean his general stump speech. Hasn't changed much since the opening.
This is definitely gonna boost him in Super Tuesday. It helped Gingrich in the GOP primary of 2012, and it's definitely gonna help him here.Biden winning SC was always a given, no? Does anyone really think this is going to boost him going into Super Tuesday?
This is my biggest concern for Bernie long term
?My goodness Bernie, what a bore. I know you lost, but come on. Take a cue from Obama 2008 in NH.
I'm just saying that they are underpreforming based on the RCP polling average.but these are black voters. they were never going to vote for Pete or Klob. Also Steyer does really well with old folks it looks like, so they probably would've gone to Biden
That's seems to be what the split is amongst black voters in general, iirc.
Could have been Bloomy with his store bought swell in the polls but luckily his fucked up bigotry became a national issue along with those debates so people removed from NYC politics knew what was up.
Don't diss the PSA guys, they're good people.Obama absolutely wasn't surrounded by quality people, 90% of people associated with his presidency are all mediocre or trash. Look at the Pod Save America guys talk about combating fake news or implementing health care. These people haven't talked to anyone on the street in the last decade.
I don't think corporate Dems have a compelling story.
Sure I'd take them over Trump just on the environment issues alone. But they still seem blind to the systemic issues Sanders and Warren have addressed.
He's not on the ballot in SC. We'll have to wait until Tuesday to see how Bloomberg does.Makes sense.
All the candidates are abysmal when it comes to race and Biden's been sold as the 'safe' choice that's been sold who can beat Trump.

Its interesting seeing all the candidates fail to sell themselves to the black vote...either by ignoring them or by coming off as not being able to win on the national level.
Kinda depressing the deep cynical pragmatism that's settled in, but arguably that's what's kept em safe because minority activist progressives get treated much differently then your chapo traphouse types (along with no support from said chapos) so gotta keep the movement local
whats the point that he made oh FUCK today was the last day for me to early vote
he's an old racist who happened to be Obama's vpSo, is Biden actually really good at understanding black issues and knowing how to approach them? Is this the vote reflecting that?

Oligarchs want to seize all the power they can. Bloomberg running is the most sensible thing about this race.
I mean with other Primary.. it would take couple of days to reach 100% but with the rate they are going it would take less than a day..The wonders of a primary. You just have to count ballots like and normal election. Not do complicated caucus math.
I am still struggling to understand how the fuck is Biden so popular with older black folks. Dude fucking lies like sipping cappuccino and displayed visibly creepy attitude towards women.
Of course, Trump is the same way with lies and women and enough Americans were able to either overlook or condone it to put that cunt in the office.
Yikes. Certainly lives up to their name.Hey remember how you defended a literal fascist authoritarian, like repeatedly?

Biden plummets to a commanding victory. This doesn't bode well for his campaign going forward.I've been following these primaries closely and based on the media coverage of the previous ones I know full well that first is the worst and the real momentum is from those in 2nd and 3rd.
Congrats Bernie on the non-1st place finish!

Yeah... The approval polls definitely hint at that don't they?imo i think that the folks who voted for joe biden probably like him, and want him to be president.
Getting to 100% (or very close) within a day is pretty normal.I mean with other Primary.. it would take couple of days to reach 100% but with the rate they are going it would take less than a day..
He's 78 and has been fantasizing about running for over a decade publicly. Last chance and he saw a weak Biden as his in, basically.

I'm gonna give an actual response compared to others. Biden is probably the person who campaigned with and for black people the most in the entire democratic primary field this year. He has campaigned with and for black people for decades and it shows in the results and endorsements he is getting with people like Clyburn in SC and getting the most black endorsements so far.So, is Biden actually really good at understanding black issues and knowing how to approach them? Is this the vote reflecting that?
