Will Biden do anything about the children camps? He'll change the immigration policies about sepration but I don't think he said anything about improving the children facilities to a livable standard

Apparently:

Immediately reverse the Trump Administration's cruel and senseless policies that separate parents from their children at our border, including ending the prosecution of parents for minor immigration violations as an intimidation tactic, and prioritize the reunification of any children still separated from their families.

End the mismanagement of the asylum system, which fuels violence and chaos at the border. Trump's disastrous policy of "metering" — limiting the number of asylum applications accepted each day — forces people seeking asylum to wait on the streets in often dangerous Mexican border towns for weeks before they are permitted to apply. It has created a horrifying ecosystem of violence and exploitation, with cartels kidnapping, violently assaulting, and extorting migrants. Biden will direct the necessary resources to ensure asylum applications are processed fairly and efficiently, while treating families and children with compassion and sensitivity.

Surge humanitarian resources to the border and foster public-private initiatives. Humanitarian needs are best met through a network of organizations, such as faith-based shelters, non-governmental aid organizations, legal non-profits, and refugee assistance agencies working together. Biden will dramatically increase U.S. government resources to support migrants awaiting assessment of their asylum claims and to the organizations providing for their needs.

End prolonged detention and reinvest in a case management program. The Trump Administration has sought to circumvent the Flores agreement and hold children in detention indefinitely. But proven alternatives to detention and non-profit case management programs, which support migrants as they navigate their legal obligations, are the best way to ensure that they attend all required immigration appointments. These programs also enable migrants to live in dignity and safety while awaiting their court hearings–facilitating things like doctor visits, social services, and school enrollment for children. Evidence shows that these programs are highly effective and are far less expensive and punitive than detaining families. Biden will codify protections to safeguard children to make sure their treatment is consistent with their best interest and invest in community-based case management programs, including those supported by faith-based organizations such as Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, to move migrants into safe environments as quickly as possible.

That came up in a quick google, which took me to his website. There's more, but here's the link.

Kamala is from California, as safe a seat as you can get (2018 Senate election general ended up being two Democrats). While Massachusetts is a blue state, they have been known to throw curveballs and do like their "moderate" Republican now and again, especially for governor, which specifically got us burned in 2010. No problem with California, and furthermore Kamala would be well poised to run for president again vastly stronger in either 2024 or 2028, while Warren is going to be too old by then (yes, Bernie/Biden, but they're too old too).
Brown was an aberration because Coakley ran the worst campaign I've seen a politician run.

Fuck this country dude. This was our last chance. Here's to more deportations, more people dying because of no health care, more people drowning in debt, more racial injustices being ignored, more wars killing brown people in other countries. But at least white liberals will be happy. My disdain for whites, specifically white people who pretend to be allies grows everyday.

Biden has more POC voters than Bernie so I'm not sure what white people have to do with anything happening tonight?

Why is every criticism of Biden labeled as right wing
Maybe because ever since Super Tuesday this thread has been inundated with people posting videos from right wing sources off of Twitter and other social media that are purposefully disingenuous and edited to make Joe Biden look like he's saying and doing things that he's not.

Bringing up his lies and his bad policy positions is more than fair. Nobody has an issue with that.

Any predictions on Biden's VP?

I know that they have very different positions on several issues, but I've been thinking lately that Warren could actually be a really good choice.

It would soften the blow of not having a progressive nominee, and might help with some of the young progressive voters who feel like they wouldn't have a voice in a Biden administration.

Would probably never happen though.

THIS conspiracy was pushed by right wing twitter accounts and was then sginal boosted by Sanders surrogates and supporters. Members in this very forum were caught tweeting right wing twitter accounts to make their points for this dishonest line of attack.

The real question people need to be asking is why the 18-29 crowd just doesn't show up like they should? Bernie was a candidate they claim to hyped to vote for. So why not show that in the Primary?

The DNC, "moderate Voltron" didn't stop these people from voting.

Feel free to not vote in the GE if you want.

Just be aware nobody will or should take you seriously as a leftist, progressive, or whatever you want to call yourself again.

I think Bernie failed on relying on millennials, like how Hilary failed on relying on smart people.

There's a shit ton of old people, and dumb people.

Uhh, whites aren't who is winning this for Biden. Maybe cut the racist BS.

To any younger leftists in here feeling the hit: don't despair. This is what we do. The left loses. For each victory, we take 2, 5, 10 losses. We lose, and we lose, and we lose... and then we win, and when we do win, we change the whole game up.

Look at how much the conversation has shifted from 2016 because of the Bernie campaign, and he lost 2016. The same will happen now. And when you do get in there, and you will, everything will change.

Continue the fight. Unionize. Join your local DSA chapter. Talk to your fucking neighbor and find some class solidarity, for his problems are precisely the same problems that afflict you.

The fight doesn't end, and we will not live long enough to see the full results of our struggle come to fruition. We just have to do our best and add to the pile. It's literally all we can do.
When I read this post I couldn't help but think of this One Piece theme:

Country needs every dem senator it can. Warren will not be the VP, as that seat will turn red in her absence.

I suppose from that perspective Kamala might work. We'll see. This primary is for all intents and purposes over so I expect an announcement in the next week and a half.

Warren is too old to be VP for the oldest president ever. You can expect his VP choice will be 3 out of these 4:
- Much younger
- Female
- POC
- More left

The worry comes across as completely disingenuous when you supported a self-described Socialist and showed no willingness to compromise on any other left-wing position in the name of "electability".
Bernie grades well with unions and has a history of protecting gun owners in Vermont. Something Biden even attacked him on. Also if you don't think the Republican narrative will be to call Biden a Socialist, you're wrong. McConnell literally admitted the playbook is the same regardless of candidate. They're all "far left extremists"

But sure lets divert away from the conversation to dog on Bernie when I'm talking about Biden going forward against Trump.

Bernie won "white" states?? White liberals were his base. Biden won the minority vote by a fair margin, why get mad at whites for that?

I DON'T FUCKING KNOW, BECAUSE THE MAN IS NOT WELL AND HE SHOULDN'T BE PRESIDENT.

The other guy just went on Fox News and did this! Young people and independents like him! WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE EVEN DOING.

Is this the same town hall in which he said he's not an expert on Sweden's economic policies, after basing his whole Democratic Socialist persona on Nordic countries' economic policies?

Even if Bernie got his record youth numbers, it wouldn't matter if he still bombed as bad with everyone else.

Whats Bidans record on schooling? like free university or is he ones of those assholes that wants you to pay

Education: Biden is for two free years of community college or technical schooling. He also supports doubling the maximum value of Pell Grants and a student loan forgiveness program which will make it so you don't have to pay anything back on student loans if you are making under 25,000 a year. He also proposes a cap on the maximum amount annually at 5% of your income over 25,000 a year with full forgiveness after 20 years. So if you make 50,000 a year, only 5% of 25,000 is your maximum yearly contribution. That's 1,250 a year. He is also for using federal funds to even out the funding for all schools so that those in higher property tax areas don't receive more resources.

Bernie bombing with the real Dem base, black voters, is why he has lost in two straight primaries.
The irony of your post is "white liberals" is Bernie's base.
