At this point I think the battle will be for who Biden's pick for VP will be.
I don't know that it's a momentum thing. Bernie just likely isn't anywhere near as popular as the vocal minority on the internet would have one believe.
Trump can barely string a sentence together coherently and when it goes beyond that it's nonsense. Why would he beat Biden in a debate? At best for Trump it'd be a wash.
yea. Like I said earlier, Bernie benefited from the early calendar, frankly.
My one nitpick is they're theoretical in terms of getting functionally useful versions of them, but we do have functioning quantum computers as far as I know, they just can't do much.

Yeah that's not true at all. Sanders was winning with these group so pre ST, and would have expanded his leads following ST if he'd have won which is why the establishment did what they did.
He is talking about two of his supporter who talked to him not that there is only two supporters.

just a fyi for everyone- the Michigan exit polls did not include early voting, which according to a poll last week was heavily for Biden.
A plurality of voters identify as Independent. By definition that means they don't have strong party loyalties. Most independents lean in a given direction, but they are persuadable. They're literally the voters that you need to win an election.
So why did the same not happen with Clinton? Bernie only had one shot with California much later in the year? You're kind of denying facts.
I always though Biden didn't want to be president. I mean, that's how is campaign was run up until ST, like his heart wasn't in it.

I don't think Biden is going to coast to victory.
I also think Bernie has demonstrated he has even less ability to win than Biden. He has failed to meaningfully expand his base. He has failed to convince even the most receptive voters to his policies to vote for them.
You don't fucking get to claim Bernie is viable when he's losing by 10 points in Michigan.

honestly i think the path for progressives wont be through the democratic party. anyone who picks up bernie's or anyone to the left of bernie's message will get hit with the same criticisms.

...it's fucking voter suppression. Please don't be obtuse for the sake of being contrarian, please. Those people losing their votes when actively attempting to participate in the system is only going to make them feel worse about doing so again. That isn't a good thing.
In this case, it is same day registration. These people could have registered ahead of time, but waiting till today. Also, Michigan allow for spoiled ballots- if you voted ahead of time, you could walk up and change your ballot today.
This is a very good thing- more new voters being added to the roles.
Young people didn't show up to vote for Bernie in the primary.
