Nice hidden text. Also, probably against the rules of this forum, too.

Do you have any more works of utter fiction that can be shared. I know a good agent.

Keep freaking out and going insane over people reacting to SNL videos. Attacking "normie behavior" has worked out real well for the dirtbag left.

Surprisingly, most of the electorate actually likes that shit! But I'm convinced you all simply want to lose.

Because clearly, Bernie's approach on doubling down on everything is working out so well for him.

Do you want to win an election? Or do you prefer losing to actually doing the things that are required to get 51% of voters to support a candidate that includes your 30% as well.
If ideological purity is more important than winning, they lose. It's like the electorate has clearly shown, there simply are not enough progressives to support Bernie's movement on a national level.

Apparently we're just doing Tales From My Ass to "prove" that leftists are bad now.

I can't imagine being so invested as a spectator to a foreign election that you feel the need to go try and help that person win an election in a foreign country.
what would be the point of Bernie running on moderate policies. Why would I not just vote for Biden? If he and Bernie had the same policies?
Because they'd still be to the left of Biden! If you're already on the leftmost flank, and you move even further left, it's not going to help things. The left's "there's a secret audience that Dems have been missing that we can win over by going SUPER FAR LEFT" is a fantasy that is believed not because it's true, but because many would rather embrace something they like rather than something that's true.

Kinda surprised by that, has Biden really attacked Bernie that much before now? I thought one of his things was he didn't want to get negative against other primary candidates

Oh he has attacked Sanders before iirc. He may not want to get negative (or at least too negative) against a fellow Dem candidate but he would also want to end this primary as soon as possible and thus going on the offensive.

The most accurate thing about that vid is how close the text resembles an actual Biden sentence lol

I mean hearing himself say that he doesn't think gun companies should be held accountable seems pretty accurate. I guess they could have used an impersonator.

He was hit hard on his past with the gun lobby in 2016 as well. Only because times are super weird these days has he been able to go months into the primary without anyone calling him out on it. Unfortunately as he tries to court the POC vote, he has to speak to this again. His track record ain't great, and they remember.

No, you don't get it. If you're not 100% onboard with Biden, you're with Trump. If you criticize Biden, you're with Trump so get the fuck outta here and go vote for Trump.

What's that, you don't like Trump? Well you better get down and suck Joe's dick so we don't get four more years of Trump, loser.

Went out and voted with my gf using GA's new voting machines. They are a bit more complicated but eh +2 for Biden.

Stop conflating Bernie being inept with leftist politics being invariably dead on arrival. You're smarter than that.

Are you willfully ignoring the US's status as the most powerful country in the world, of the power it has on all of us non-US citizens, the hegemony, imperialism and soft power it's been having for decades on all parts of the globe? Yes, we HAVE to get involved in this particular foreign election, because somehow it WILL have stark repercussions not just for the US citizens, but for the world as a whole. Especially in front of a crisis as extreme and urgent as the climate one, we ARE looking at you with worried eyes. I was hoping some meaningful and necessary changes were finally coming to the US, and would set an example and inspiration for other countries, but considering the way it's been heading to the past few days, I guess not.

Lol that's because you are American, if you were instead subject to the whims of American empire and foreign policy you'd feel differently.

Why do think he wouldn't be able to work with people who don't agree with him. We should ignore how unreasonable the Republicans have been acting this last decade especially?

If your saying Sanders can't work with Moderate Democrats then I don't know where you are coming from. The whole point of the primary is difference of ideology within the party. Moderates are trying to hold their influence and Sanders is trying to push them as left as he can despite how a bunch a news networks are treating him like his ideas are unrealistic
He needed toat least be able to convince those moderates not to throw in with Biden. They're not a hivemind, they can be appealed to as individuals. We've gotten reports now that he's only just stated trying.

foreigners are free to participate in US campaigns as long as you aren't spending money or being paid. Phonebank all you want

laughs in south american

That's government interference though. I mean, tons of [non-Brasilian] people on this forum were anti-Bolsonaro but I don't think any of them were out there campaigning for his opponent

it really bothers me when some of the most "politically engaged" Americans don't acknowledge how the leadership of their own country killed tens of millions to cement their position on the world stage, something which at the very least demands responsible conduct to set global leadership and something which Americans have ignored to differing extents under both parties.

serious foreign policy discussion on era is rough because people invested in domestic races treat it as a sideshow

User Banned (1 week): ignoring the modpost in regards to metacommentary
That's an odd Hillary reference out of nowhere.
If you haven't noticed a certain group of people with Hillary avatars or other people that post with them making baseless attacks and contorting things people say then I can't be your eyes for you. I've had several things I've posted contorted to a disgusting extent and it's toxic and annoying. Despite the fact I go out of my way to own up when I jump to conclusions and try and be civil in most interactions. Not to mention a bunch of them trying to solicit bans for people from mods which I think is against ToS but I'm not sure. Maybe I just have a special resentment but shit is annoying

Just like any other wide movement that agglutinates a lot of sensibilities, the 'left' is not a monolith and there's a lot of different opinions in a lot of different issues, even if they can agree in the fundamentals.

I can't imagine being so invested as a spectator to a foreign election that you feel the need to go try and help that person win an election in a foreign country.

I for one I expect that once you have universal health care, liberals in my country will stop using your country as an example of why we should switch to private healthcare system
