The issues are way overblown here from when the attacks came. Most of his early lack of POC vote was from not knowing who he was, though the media is definitely a self-fulling prophecy. His Douglass plan has been praised by even the farthest of left sources, despite not fulfilling all the issues, clearly. People love Joe, and all I'm saying is that if Pete becomes part of his cabinet, he will have a chance to show his progressive values and hopefully lead the Democrats to where we see our country going. Give Pete some years to get experience in the country and people will start to warm up to him.
Polling 1-3% or whatever with black voters isn't overblown. But yes, he has time to address it. But not now as VP, IMO.

Isn't Biden for weed legalization?

Biden's legalization stance is political sleight of hand.

He's open to the idea but he thinks more research and science on the effects of marijuana needs to come out before he makes a decision.

The problem of course is that since marijuana is a Schedule 1 drug, the federal government in no way is going to help fund said research and anyone trying to conduct said research would be doing so at their own risk.

So the line of thinking goes like this:

Biden: I want more research done before we legalize.

Researchers: Okay, change the classification so we can research it.

B: Well, we don't have enough science for me to do that in good conscience.

R: But we can't research it if we're not allowed to...

B: Welp, guess there's no way to find out if it's not a terrible public risk, so status quo it is!

Yeah 2020 isn't Bernie's year. It was 2016.
Does this mean doctor's appointment or dick appointment? Either way I would like to come with you.

Oh god it's looking like a bloodbath for Bernie. I think Democrats just want a nominee and move on from the primary. Maybe it's time for Bernie to just dropout.

People blaming Warren are stupid. Look at here numbers. Even if Bernie were to theoretically gain all of Warren's support, he'd still get blown out. Losing AA by >60% and oler voters by >50% is far more pressing issues for Bernie than the few Warren votes he ain't getting.

yea. She's a convenient scapegoat. We kind of sort of have a Bernie/Biden head to head right now with Bloomberg and Warren cancelling each other out.

Certainly didn't mean to offend. I'll amend my post.
I wasn't offended! Maybe others were or could've been, but I wasn't.

But in the interests of discussion, I'll double down on my prediction that deepfake videos and gifs are going to be spreading like wildfire during the GE, and I think Biden's gaffes are fodder for a lot of stuff that depicts him doing things far, far worse than he's actually done.

Bernie got to see where he stood with voters in 2016 and saw what his weaknesses were. It's on him to shore up those weaknesses he saw in 2016

Bernie mega flopping. Don't buy into the hype of personality cults y'all.

Also, America's gigantic sexism issue is literally destroying your country. This is not sustainable and the country will learn this, one way or the other.

Well, the people will get who they vote for, I'll vote for the nominee even if they don't represent me in any actual capacity, even if it's Joe "vote for someone else" Biden.

If Trump wins again though, it just goes to show the DNC and conservative moderate democrats are willing to undermine the country and even the world to preserve the status quo.

Hot take: The talk of a revolution is far more damaging to Bernie than the socialist label.

I've thought this since 2016.

Of course it is, because the country hasn't yet reached the level of societal collapse required for a revolution to be supported. Still too many people living cushy lives, afraid of change.

Over the next decade or two, we'll see what happens as late-stage capitalism becomes end-stage terminal capitalism.

I mean people realize this is likely the package that comes with Biden correct?

Gabbard is going to pounce on the disgruntled base and very likely run third party to try and split the Democratic vote.

Be prepared for the possibility of Gabbard pounding home that the Democratic establishment colluded to keep Bernie from the nomination, and the problem is she won't be wrong.

Trump will be hitting him with fake sexual assault pictures, Hunter Biden propaganda, and the MSM will play right into all the theater while Joe will fumble to November. This is going to be a shitshow.

fucking hell establishment didnt do shit. If Bernie was the better candidate, voters would have responded. He has name recognition, money, groundswell support, the works.

he lost cause the voters said "nah"

If its Biden vs trump and trump wins. I want every Democrat that wanted this to fuck off into oblivion. I'm getting sick and tired of old people
And armchair pundit 20-30 year olds that arrogantly think they've figured it all out by running the same candidate strategy that has failed for twenty years.

She will be wrong, and let's not pretend should wouldn't run 3rd party as the "moderate" candidate against "crazy socialist Bernie."

Are we back to generalizing all AA voters now? You guys think more liberal union AA workers in the north are going to vote the same as older conservative AA voters from the south?
