I love that there is slightly above average and high scores from major review outlets; this means message.
Like grumpy (Ron Gilbert) says, it's easier to make something everybody loves; show a puppy playing with bubbles, congratulations you've shown the world puppies are cute.
So having some love and some meh makes me think it will be worth it because it has probably a message to convey.
There's always a risk for me to land on the meh side; but that's a risk i'm willing to take. I don't want to read the reviews i don't want to be spoiled too much :P
A lot of the complaints are "all the story is extremely terrible and manages to explain nothing in a dozen plus hours of cutscenes of exposition"
Not sure that will convey a message.
