Well, it originally was also supposed to come to PC and most likely will get an enhanced version on PS5.
DS doesn't have "Only on PlayStation" branding for some reason

Doesn't say "Only on PlayStation"
Good catch!Doesn't say "Only on PlayStation"
Perhaps we're getting a PC version after all.
Did you ever watch Terminator 2?A woman, (code)named Fragile, held at gunpoint gets her face licked. 🤦♀️ Can't wait to hear how misogynistic the final product ends up being.
BT.
Pretty sure Kojima is speaking through Mads at the end there.
"you'll see it all soon". "you can travel anywhere. the whole world. Even the moon"
Best response ever
holy fuck please tell me we go to the moon. this is entirely bonkers and i'm here for it.
The terrorist organization though???? I couldn't understand the name--I kept hearing "Homo Demons"????
I think it's 'Homodemons', like 'Homosapiens'. Presumably due to the strange powers Troy Baker's character appears to possess.
- What kind of response is that?
- Terminator 2 came out in 1991.
- James Cameron ain't a feminist and isn't scrutinized enough.
None of the gameplay actually looked... good. The trailer was really cool. But i can't help to shake the feeling that the game part of this game is forced in to tell the story. It's hard to have high expectations.
This sounds awesome, and probably the clearest description of the game so far. This is everything I've wanted, and more..
Oh my god. This sounds incredible.
Journey between life and death
Begin your quest to save civilisation in a broken world rife with supernatural dangers.
Face unique challenges
Arm yourself and take aim at a variety of objectives in your mission to reunite a broken nation, while balancing under the weight of your cargo as you travel. Protect your supplies from wild bandits, and stay safe from the terrifying Beached Things… or face failing those who depend on you.
Explore the world
The Decima Engine renders a hyper-realistic landscape utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Unpassable obstacles block your path and force you to find different routes, while supernatural elements alter the physical state of your surroundings.
Death is not the end
There is no traditional 'game over' state in Death Stranding. Lose your life during combat and you'll find yourself in an upside-down realm, searching for a way back to the living. Choose your combat methods carefully, as killing your foe is almost never the solution – and every death carries a consequence.
Assist other players
Help other travellers without ever crossing paths via asynchronous online gameplay. Send supplies, share safe houses and walk in the footsteps of fellow couriers to reunite civilisation.
I don't think it's a homage, Kojima isn't subtle when borrowing from his icons. Sarah Connor like Ripley before her were steps forward but don't stand the test of time. People praise Kojima for The Boss but she was rooted in old school ideas of how to make a "strong female character". Kojima has fucked up gender politics (in regards to men too, see Otacon, Vamp, and Raiden) and doesn't understand women nor wants to.It might be a reference to that movie and Sarah Connor is one of the most badass woman in any movie at least that's my opinion.
Or maybe since everything is upside-down and twisted, you can drink water by sucking into your weiner from puddles.
I wonder how interesting the environments will be to navigate? They look beautiful but they also are very empty and seem to have little to no landmarks, camps, animals, or anything else for that matter. Aside from that war setting where I assume you go when you die.
We've seen so much imagery of tears that I actually think they serve some sort of plot device.
