oh yeah, no doubt. I just wanted to make it clear that it's super janky in all the versions and not just the switch version. though I'd assume there are better options out there that I haven't had a hands on with yet.

They want people to buy the game. I love Deadly Premonition, but we know what we're in for, and that's gonna scare people away.
Runs like ass when outdoors, fine otherwise. Needs an update to fix audio issues. Based on 360 content with QoL improvements from PS3.

They did release a patch for audio issues. They still rarely occur but not nearly as much as at launch.

i wish toybox would patch origins to at least fix the game crashing occasionally, that would make it so much easier to recommend it to people before 2 is released.
mostly playable
if you're a huge twin peaks fan, the chances of you not liking the game are extremely low. you'll probably like the story and characters enough to overlook the jank.

At least 20...maybe even 40 depending on your play style.
I remember really liking the low-key aspects; shaving, film talk in the car, following NPC's and observing their schedules... but when the central narrative began to kick in I lost interest.

took me 35 to finish the game, do all side quests and collect all the trading cards. i used guides a lot tho (i recommend using guides, it'll be very frustrating if you try to figure out everything yourself).

The game was pretty janky when it released. Age has nothing to do with it.
Much better than the other versions. The only problem is when driving through down.
Game was pretty busted when it released.
One of the most unique experiences in gaming, totally worth it.
