What the...?Technical issues in open world games are always very anecdotal (I had a friend who claimed to not have met a single jarring bug in AC Unity around launch), but I actually didn't find that many bugs, even playing on older versions of the game than the one that's currently out there (1.0.3). There are slowdowns, but even on the base PS4 the game ran consistently and reasonably well when you're not driving fast on the bike.
The biggest technical hurdle I found, to quote myself from the OT, was this:
I don't think he is, as there literally is an explanation for that line in a cutscene later into the game.
The fact that he's 'waited' 3 years to make these videos only further proves how desperately he needs people to like the game for some reason. He's waited for almost three years to make these videos while reviewers have been writing hot takes on it for that amount of time and making money in that time. Your argument that only one of them is motivated by money doesn't hold water. You have to hold them all to the same standard if you want to pull that.
I'm pretty sure I'm posting on an internet forum, not going out on twitter trying to start a crusade against reviewers.
Humor and saucy banter....kind of a flop imo but what's wrong with it?
The way people are responding to this is absurd, it's the equivalent of taking that fucking Tidus laugh from FFX out of context for the 10 millionth time
That's some bad LSD trip shit right here...
I live in CA and I only ever hear it in reference to girls riding guys.
I wasn't. Butt stuff is great!
It will do fine sale-wise. And it's a 7/10 game so it will keep selling. 4 - 5 million is my guess. While I expected mid 70's to low 80's scores and although I never intended to buy it, I still hope it sells well.
Sony Bend deserves another shot.
A Turbo Teen reference is not what I would have expected in this thread, but damn.
Ah I see. Not sure why the video would call that line out then.
How do you think salaries get paid? You mean reviews who get salary no matter how good the game is or how many clicks the site gets?
hi Patrick. Yes! you are 100% right. But I don't think (and correct me if I'm wrong) we can't not ask everyone to be Romero.
Huh? I didn't say those were the biggest problems at all, I said the reviews are mixed, which they clearly are, and that the reviews say the game is also held back by its own issues as well. But sure pretend I said the tech issues were the biggest problem...
Plus from what I understand it's a direct reference to a (later shown) moment/joke in their relationship.
its a fucking shame, these people at the studio worked their harts out. it's a studio that did not have extreme crunch or anything bad. i hope they keep adding and improving.
How is that any different from any other review thread? You are thinking to not buy a game based on reviews from people who claims that "Deacon is a selfish bastard" when, in the game, it's not like that. You are trusting people that have played 10 hours out of a 30+ main quest.
Pack it up, too many 8/10s, the game's not reviewing bad enough lol.
Can't stop laughing in the office, thank you.
This is news to me but fucking hilarious nonetheless. Greg whyyy lol.Considering Greg gave both Fallout 76 & Anthem a pass, this is a hard condemnation in my book.
LOOOL im dieIf Deacon's wife could transform into a vehicle, this line would be so cool.
You've made a GameStop girl unhappy?!?! You monster!!!I gotta say I'm glad I transferred my pre-order funds from this game to Phoenix Wright Trilogy. I'm still gonna check it out, for sure, but I have to say that the problems and the plot are really dampening any meager excitement I had for the game.
The GameStop girl was real disappointed in me, though. 😞

If Gregg is disappointed you know it's got to be bad.
Holy fuck that wedding line......Hahahaha, we hit a new level.

AHAHA this was so good, top tier mission design for sureMy personal favorite part of this touching flashback was
when they interrupt it midway through to have you shoot five people in case you were bored and then they pick it right back up again.
