Daredevil may not be coming back to Netflix after yesterday's sudden cancellation of the series, but there is clearly more in store for the Man Without Fear, as Marvelconfirmed today.

A statement this morning from the home of The Avengers and Spider-man used similar language to what the streamer signed off with to indicate that Hell's Kitchen's blind protector isn't done yet on the small or even big screen. "We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future," the Disney-owned comic giant said Friday.

That's a lot like "While the series on Netflix has ended, the three existing seasons will remain on the service for years to come, while the Daredevil character will live on in future projects for Marvel," which the streamer said Thursday when it announced Season 3 would be its last for Netflix.

This is wonderful news. Unclear whether they'll be rebooted or continue on.

Yeah they'll do something with the character in a few years time, why wouldn't they

But the show and character are dead in the short term

I feel like every single show that got canceled has teased a weird 'never forget' type message after. The speculation would be its all coming back to Disney's channel, despite what they said.

Doesn't say anything. The character will live on sure, but fans love the Charlie Cox version.

edit: oh, this is old as sin.

I rather they reboot this from scratch. Daredevil is a great character with a lot of potential and should get its own theatrical movie treatment and be part of marvels cinematic universe.

What happened at Netflix should stay at Netflix.

My only hope when they eventually make a new Daredevil series is that they can somehow get Charlie Cox back to be Matt Murdock. He's so top notch in that role.
