He knows that water is pretty much a septic tank right? All that trash and in a few cases waterlogged bodies

London
When i was a kid a huge sewer pipe near our house fractured and created a huge lake of piss, shit and various items, some of the locals were making rafts and floating about with the floaters.

I assumed Gritty would be the one swimming in the flooded highway

The city beautiful
Just a little dip in the Schuykill punch.

This is pretty tame for Philly. I was expecting Gritty having sex with someone's wife or another horse getting a knuckle sandwich.

lol:

"It's not something you want to go swimming in, or tubing in, or any of the other things we've seen folks do." [said Adam Thiel, the city's dual fire commissioner and emergency management director]

And, on a cautionary note: "If you did that, I would certainly advise you to go get a tetanus shot, among other things."

Mayor Jim Kenney also chimed in with a few jabs. "Don't do stupid stuff," he quipped...

That's insane. I have driven there a million times. I can't believe it flooded that much.

Based on the continuing catastrophe of climate change this begins a new yearly tradition. I'm not familiar enough with Philly to give it a snappy name.
