There's a whole thread on this from all sorts of game composers.

"Hey, (game song) is totally a copy of (non-game song)!"

Music is an important part of games, and composers like to take inspiration everywhere, so naturally sometimes 2 songs will be very similar and sound like obvious inspiration of a later song. The classic example is Robo's Theme from Crono Trigger and Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give you Up"...
