I have a strange feeling it will be a side mode or something. No way the full game can be played this way at launch (please prove me wrong!).

I'd be surprised if they weren't at least experimenting with different VR tech, but I don't think this should be taken as proof of launch-day VR support.

there's no way this would be ready on launch, it would surely take a year to implement it in a way that feels good? at least?
The release of stuff like Alyx/Boneworks has raised the baseline expectation for stuff like this so i'm not really sure.
If it takes them a full year to get it rock solid like those games i'm very down.

Yea I don't think this is an indicator for now. They've been on record saying no, already. I would go crazy over even limited VR support for this though.
