Hunt: showdownWere the last few games they made worthwhile? I swear i haven heard anything about them since ryse.
Gimme NAO.
Is that true? Wikipedia claims they have 290 employees still (based on https://www.gameswirtschaft.de/wirtschaft/groesste-spiele-entwickler-deutschland-2020/)I'd be shocked if they developed a AAA next-gen title in-house, given the skeleton crew that works there.
Weirdly enough, I think Ryse has a lot of potential, with some tweaking
Does EA own the Crysis IP?
Looks like Crytek going to be busy. The BR would be awesome if done right.
As we approach the last days of current gen, RYSE is still one of its stand out games for me! A sequel would be amazing!!

Fortunately for the IP, Son of Rome ended in a way where they can basically do whatever with a Ryse 2. I'd be shocked if they didn't try a new approach after the mediocre reception it received.A rise sequel honestly needs to be an entirely different game because the first one is utter shite
Next gen Risen? Janky if true.
I never brought an Xbox One. Can you tell me what appeals to you with this game? To me, it always looked so bland and someone who actually played it might point out it's competencies :)
Yeah sorry I should have added I was mainly referring to the visuals. To this day it's still a looker and one of the graphical showcases of current gen for me. Having said that, while the combat was ultimately rather shallow and the story fairly short I still had a tonne of fun with it and was seemingly one of the few people who really enjoyed the MP arena side of it tooI never brought an Xbox One. Crytek self-published Crysis Remaster so I guess not. At least not currently.
This was my first reaction to seeing this list. I loved Ryse.

Good find. Actually, looking at the back of my original 2007 DVD case, it says the same thing, so EA never owned the rights to the franchise.Yup:

Licensee shall have no ownership or intellectual property rights in or to CRYSIS, including, without limitation, all copyrights related thereto. "
