The Switch isn't the PS3. It's more powerful, easier to develops for and has a relatively modern architecture and feature set.

The two levels, Assault and Onslaught, are big open levels that allows you to approach them however you see fit.

These two levels also represents 11/10 first person shooter gameplay.

Never equaled, never bested.

Probably the same way Alien Isolation looks and runs better on Switch than on PS4. They optimized the shit out of it.

Might be a similar deal to Bulletstorm, where ip reverted to the dev after 5 years.

Although EA did say that they had remasters of fan favourite games coming out in the next year at their end of 2019 investor briefing.

I think that's just bad writing. Neither PS4, nor Xbox One, and even less Switch have enough power to run any kind of path tracing decently

I know it is a Remaster but I do hope they make an effort to improve the gameplay in the last third of the game.

Which honestly is a let down from an otherwise stellar game.

Bruh im gonna duck behind cover miles away, stick a silencer on my assault rifle with the sniper scope attached, and shoot heavily armoured guys in the chest 30 times and then complain on the internet.

It's an old game, the Switch should run it just fine. On top of that, a remaster usually comes with more optimization.
