Gyro aiming makes it automatically the best console version in my opinion. It's Saber, so I have little doubt that the game will run fine.

Dictator must be pretty excited about the PC version. But.... July 23rd doesn't seem that far for a video coverage about a low powered Tegra GPU, am I right?

Lol oh yeah Alex, I'm also waiting for what he does with his inevitable video on this release. Okay things are looking better.
Probably not much else that can be touched up unlike the other versions.
Maaaaan......I'm saying that the Switch version is going to be comparable to however it looked on 360/PS3, with better performance and a higher res i.e barebones. It's not a knock on it, it's just that the other versions are going to (assuming that this is what the delay is for) try to look a lot better.

All the Screenshots and gifs seem to be made in the strength mode.
And they are also using the original PC weapon models instead of the edited ones from the PS360 release.
The 360 version looked different lighting-wise. Like more cold for some reason. The Switch version looks really close to the original.
...that the Switch version is ready for release so they're giving it to us early? This must just mean that the improvements they're going to make to the others are above the Switch's performance cap anyway.

If my memory is correct.... they had some sort of intelligent switch between modes or a quick button, but they were all working under the 5 radial structures of the original game.
They definitely weren't toned down to the 3 structures modes like the sequels.
The fact that the first version of a seminal PC game is coming out on switch first is a big ???? in my book.
Crytek really should never have farmed out parts of this remaster to someone else - this is far too important.
I am definitely excited, but there is so much releasing in the next few weeks that I am comvering and we have a lot too manage. I have to see how I fit in Crysis Remastered on PC atm with its completely unknown release date....

Is The Switch version releasing first a problem?
If yes, it is too, the other way around, right?
I imagine that the Switch version was already pushing the hardware and there wasn't really much more they could do with it.
With the PS4/One version there was probably quite a bit more power left under the hood so they're taking extra time to smarten things up a bit.

I don't think Crysis is as important to Crytek as it is to it's fans.
I dunno, I thought Vampyr's performance was a bit crappy.
I'm sure they are putting more resources on Crysis though, so I'm optimistic.
I don't think it's getting a physical release. At least not at launch.
There were people hoping (I don't know why) that this was a remake that would squeeze PS5 and XBX to the max.
The Switch version is coming out in two weeks, so copies should've been able to be shipped a couple of weeks ago for that to happen.

Is there a way to view this video at a non-potato resolution? I get that Twitter is optimizing speed over everything else to show videos, but this never buffers to a higher quality for me.
Haven't played a lot of the Switch games that support gyro myself, but trying out gyro aiming on the steam controller on PC was certainly a revelation, would love to see more support for it across all platforms.

They are all available in the website and on the first page of this thread in high quality (best quality possible since it's from the website not direct feed).
I'm going to guess 540p handheld and 720p Docked. Hopefully, they don't use an extra blurry aa solution and if they do, users should have the option to disable it like for witcher.
Was the game that dense on last gen consoles? (I know it's not based on the PC version)
Pretty good chance of getting mouse and keyboard support on the PS4 and XB1.
not sure if the bottom image is unmodded but there were quiet a few sacrifices made in asset LOD and foliage density to get the game running on 360.
If the whole reason for delaying was to improve visuals, than I can see why they only delayed the console and PC versions of this version is already maxing out the switch.
Let's keep it real: the proportion of people using a keyboard and a mouse on console is epsilon.
