Aiming for 60 in overworld and dungeons, 30 in towns. There were a ton of framerate issues at launch though, there were patches but I'm not sure how much they fixed
Yeah, as said, it's 60fps in the field (in most combat) and 30fps in towns. The towns have a lot more detail and NPCs.
The 60fps target in the field isn't hit all of the time and in my own experience there is some stuttering from time to time even when the framerate is relatively stable.
Just received an email - all the original Indiegogo backers who kickstarted this game will get the DLC for free. Fuck yes.

How will this work on game pass? I made it to the end of the game there then left it to wait for the DLC, but can I get it if I only have the actual game on Game Pass? I'd rather not have to buy and replay the original elsewhere to get to the new content...
What if I told you they got Liquid Tension Experiment to do the music for this DLC?

I just picked up a physical copy on NSW. I'm really looking forward to playing it!
I'm glad I saw this, I picked it up for switch a little while ago. I'm thinking I might wait a bit to start it until we're closer to console DLC release, since I generally like going right into DLC after the main game.
One of my goty for last year. I hated that I beat it on game pass coz it's an easy platinum. Might rebuy on PS4 to platinum and beat it again before dlc
Will I enjoy it if I don't enjoy:

There are all sorts of accessibility options to lower difficulty.
You can lower enemy damage and attack frequency to whatever you want.
Man oh man. If this ran perfectly on a Switch 2 or Steamdeck I'd buy one right away. So far only the PS4 version has been flawless for me (I own it on Switch, PC, PS4). Unfortunately the PC version has really noticeable hitching, at least on a high refresh monitor with GSync.
Holy fuck, it's been 84 years. Sucks that it's been a while since my playthrough and I'm not in the zone for it right now, but I'll pick it up for sure in the future.
Have you played on switch recently? I fired it up and the big busy spots in town that used to hitch and struggle seem to play just fine now. Not sure if there are worse areas later though.
I recall the snow area was a bit rough. It was a bit better with some effects turned off though. I'll check it out again.
I own it on switch and pc and had the same hitching issues you describe. Heart breaking. It's such a gorgeous game.
