Given that AFAIK the PC version was excluded from cross-play (presumably due to mouse and keyboard), that's not a surprise.
I don't think the console versions have aim assist from the videos I watched from it, crossplay with PC would not be a fun time for console people, would be funny to watch, but not fun.

If they did it by input like CoD or Fortnite it wouldn't be such a problem but they are also 60fps games.
PUBG is barley 30 and I think the console and PC builds are separate.
Still surprised Apex isn't making a move here to build its 'platform'.

It wouldn't really work as it would weigh heavily in PC user's favor.
To add to that PUBG on consoles is sketchy enough with people using XIM to get godly sniper shots.
Respawn and EA have gone completely dark on this since mentioning they'd do it right when the game launched and cross-play announcements were all the rage. AFAIK no EA games have had cross platform play yet? It's a poor showing.
