Crimson Desert is still scheduled to come out by end of this year
Love a playthrough/gameplay reveal. I don't have doubts about the gameplay given the experience I have from Black Desert, but I am very much interested in their worldbuilding/quests/dialogue etc.
I feel like that's what is important or at least what's going to sell me on this game, especially since its not a MMO like Black Desert, so I hope there's a depth in the type of quests.
Nonetheless, looking forward to this ^^.

It was supposed to have some multiplayer functionality in it I believe
Pretty sure they said as much when they first announced this years ago, then when they showed it again they announced they decided to focus on the single player component.
This one has my attention early on. Crossing my fingers that it's a good single player experience
Oh this game lol...it looks great but man that framerate or whatever, its like the background/environnments aren't synched with the player and runs at a variable framerate below 25 fps...
Thought it was announced as current gen only.
I'd love to be wrong tho, hopefully it is cross gen
This game gotta be from Black Desert team, same engine and all. Plus how it was intended to be Black Desert prequel.
The original announcement did say it was an MMORPG. It was changed to be single player focused at a later date, presumably when it was decided to keep expanding Black Desert and keep that their main MMO.

When I was at G-STAR and interviewed the lead producer, the plans included a single player storyline with co-op features and trading.

Yes, a singleplayer storyline with co-op stuff... thats not an MMO like for some reason most of the people here were expecting.
Sounds like they dropped last gen support? I know they initially said they wanted it on those platforms but it seems the tech they want in the game wouldn't make sense for it.
