Golden Sun
Golden Sun: The Lost Age
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

It has been almost 11 years since the last entry in the series and Dark Dawn ends on a MASSIVE cliff hanger.

You could sell me an SSX/MGS2/Ico PS2 Collection WOW the Nostalgia very easy I suspect. Other games could make up the Triple Pack but you get the idea. Hell, SSX2, GTA3, Persona 4. It's almost too easy on PS2.

Atari had the Dragon Ball license at that time. They later sold it back to Namco Bandai when they got in finical trouble.

Oh, that's a collection I'd be up for! Never got to play Dark Dawn.

Wow, I never knew that happened. Do you know what happened to the Legacy of Goku IP's after?

-Bubble Bobble
-Rainbow Islands: The Story of Bubble Bobble 2
-Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III

I have no idea what you would call this as multiple games have been referred to as Bubble Bobble 2 and 3 - maybe 'The Bubble Bobble Origins Trilogy' or something.

I'm not even gonna get cute:
Resident Evil Classics

(origins is already taken)

Nice, definitely people out there who prefer the classics than the remakes.

Remember when RE6 Anthology came out? It was a collectors edition with all the games, but it was pretty pricey.

Xenogears,
Final Fantasy Tactics,
Vagrant Story

I call it the "Remember when Square had decent writers? Collection"

The Square Sampler Platter Collection. :P

Dear Lucasfilm,

Hello. How are you? I saw you were rereleasing a bunch of old Star Wars games on modern consoles. They selling well? Meeting expectations? I was just sitting here thinking, you know, weren't there two Star Wars game trilogies that were pretty beloved fifteen to twenty or so years ago, that'd be a pretty easy nostalgic sell? Super Star Wars and Rogue Squadron? Do you remember? I remember.

Give them to me please.

Here's one, I call it the A1 Games Collection! Contains Battle Hunter, Board Game Top Shop, and maybe Starsweep.

They did other games but I don't know enough about them.

Planescape Torment, arguably the best-written RPG until Disco Elysium two decades later.

17827-icewind-dale-ii-windows-front-cover.jpg

Icewind Dale II, one of Black Isle Studios' later releases with more of a combat focus.

7317-baldur-s-gate-ii-shadows-of-amn-windows-front-cover.jpg

And Baldur's Gate II for a mix of both, the pinnacle of 2D/Isometric CRPGs with a massive, epic story, great writing, characters, gameplay options and combat, Baldur's Gate has it all. Were it not for Fallout and Fallout 2, BG would stand alone at the top of the podium.

Bonus: the "2D with 3D effects" engine means they still look clean and hold up visually to this day, and have all gotten enhanced edition releases over the past few years.

Call it the "Best of Black Isle Studios (Except for Fallout 2)" collection.

Strange, I only see two games listed here. Guess we can all agree that Golden Sun has two games.

I said, we all agree.

OT: Perfect Dark, Timesplitters 2, Goldeneye

The Multiplayer FPS trifecta

That I don't know. Namco Bandi has the Dragon Ball license and Japanese developed DB games, but I don't know if they ever acquired the rights to the American developed DB games from Atari. Interesting enough Legend of Goku II is the only game to receive a Japanese release.

It contains every version of Lunar 1. Every version. Yes, even the GBA one.

I played the GBA one first and that's how I got into the series lol

Oh wow, I still have my Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete edition laying around somewhere...I think. I know for sure I still have the game, but that would be a really nice collection.

Yeah I've got the Lunar 1 and 2 complete editions for PS1. They're very nice sets. I also used to have the Sega CD versions, but I gifted them to a friend who really liked Lunar. I'd love it if they'd port them to Steam. The Grandia 1 and 2 ports give me some hope. Some... not a lot.
