Ohhh, I see. Fair point, but with only a few days to go it's going to be impossible to discern between pirated copies and pre-release copies obtained legally.Ooh, it's not about the content, but rather giving audience for those with a supposed pirated copy. And I'd argue that, if was anything about gaming genre, a fighting game is more or less in the same level, I suppose.
but, just my two cents. I'm not gonna twist anyone arm.
Here a couple of menu screenshots from the cups in arcade mode. Looks like they kept Drift Colosseum as the final track of the fourth cup instead of putting Oxide Station there. Hopefully Beenox will update the Arcade mode once the first 2 dlc tracks are out so Boost Track and Oxide Station can finally be part of a cup.

Edit: I just noticed that Clockwork Wumpa isn't in any of the cups either! Seems like Hyper Spaceway took its rightful spot inside the cups. Well, in that case I hope we'll get the eighth cup when the first dlc arrives July 3rd, and consists of Twilight Tour, Boost Track, Clockwork Wumpa and Oxide Station.
My opinion is that this is only a racing game (a remaster of a racing game in fact) and there really aren't any spoilers. People don't have to watch these videos if they'd rather experience them first hand.
The day before or the same day as the release, most likely. Servers will probably be up before then though.
It's probably (I hope) gonna be 12 player online, like Mario Kart. That would mean me and my friends in a team and the other team is either other players or CPU.
Inspired as CTRNF may be, I wonder if Beenox saw Team Sonic Racing implementing team mechanics and slapped their foreheads. "Man why didn't we think of that, the word team is in the title."Pretty sure there are no team mechanics or scoring systems in races, despite the game's misleading name. It's free for all in every mode except for battle.
you joke but Nitro kart had team Mechanics, really the first game should of be called CNK and the second one CTRInspired as CTRNF may be, I wonder if Beenox saw Team Sonic Racing implementing team mechanics and slapped their foreheads. It has a story mode and there are going to be new players.
Beyond that, if you're anything more than a "casual" Crash fan, there's PLENTY to spoil. The epilogue and most of the cutscenes have been rewritten from the ground up. With plenty of extra characterization of the bosses. It's not 1:1. There is new content, too. There is plenty you can spoil in Nitro-Fueled. And I've seen enough of the things in the game to know that.
Thing is you can't see that from a thumbnail and if it's marked there shouldn't be an issue posting the videos for people who do want to watch.
Yeah it leaked, looks smooth from what I've seen.I'm out of the loop, was there some gameplay on Switch handheld that has been shown?
I preordered it for a good price so it's not that big of a problem but if it runs smoothly it would be be the cherry on the cake.

Hmm I think I explained wrong. As long as I can race against all my buddies online via some sort of matchmaking that I believe MK has as well its all good with me. Team wasn't the right word. It's everyone for themselves but my friends would just join my game and then either we host one with CPU or go online.
They do.Anyone know if the PS4/Switch Versions both run at the same Framerate? Thats pretty much the deciding factor for me.

Code's not going out until day of release for many outlets it seems.
Same as it's been for the last few releases, for better or worse. Hasn't been indicative of issues with Crash or Sekiro so far from Acti. They're just stingy about review code, I guess.
Yep, definitely not indicative of quality in this instance -- I'd just selfishly prefer a longer lead time with the review is all!
Wait what, they run both at 60fps ?
All versions run at 30fps.
Unless you plan to mostly play on the go, the PS4 version will look better and presumably have more players to race against online.
Hmm, still no Pit Stop as it's online only.
My fear is we'll see a Fortnite-esque approach where only certain items will be purchasable on the store at certain times. So best buy that item before it disappears, who knows when it will show up again. Hurry up, clock is ticking.
There is an image of the pitstop floating around. It appears that all the items are available at all times, but there is a "Daily Deals" section where certain items are discounted depending on the day. So you can't miss things and have to wait, but you can miss a discount.
Hmm, that's going to depend on how easy it is to get Wumpa Coins though. Hopefully you can reasonably get the full price versions and it's not the discounted ones you can really only be able to afford.
I think a litmus test would be, within a week of playing, I would have enough to get, let's say... Pura "Puss in Boots" Legendary, the Crash "Aviator" Legendary and the Pinstripe "Casino" one. I'll throw in the Penta Legendary as well (Whatever that is, seems like a legendary) Then I would have one for each speed class I would use. 3-4 legendaries in a week of playing offline modes (With an internet connection) I would argue is fairly reasonable. Although I will also take into mind early game generousity as well.
For what it's worth, the screenshot was of the daily deals screen, early in the day yesterday. Yesterday was the first day we've seen legit copies in the wild, so they hadn't had much time to play, and if I'm remembering correctly, the person had almost double the coins of the most expensive item on the screen. So take that as you will.
