Don't tell anyone, but every single day I spend some time reading books with words and no pictures.

I tried Jujutsu Kaisen this morning. First I read the chapters in Vol. 0 thinking it was the first chapter, then I realized what happened and started enjoying it more.
GET OUT!Don't tell anyone, but every single day I spend some time reading books with words and no pictures.
I bought it on a whim at my shop solely based on the amazing art but the noir-ish story was definitely my shit. The first book with the first three Blacksad stories is top-tier comics.

But I thought it was going to be like a regular battle manga, but with parasites or something. Its not at all what I was expecting.
This is as big a conspiracy as Harley's eye color.
Yea the shonen app put it first lol
Vol. 0 is a prequel story. Some people recommend that you read it before Vol.1, others say after the first flashback scene.
just beat Biome 3 of Returnal in 2 tries. am I a pro gamer?
really the "grenade launcher" weapon in that game is super OP.

It wasn't a DLC weapon, it was just an early unlock. It does make things easier if you have it in the rotation early game.apparently the weapon they gave people with the pre-order dlc stuff was supposed to be super OP too since you cant get it till like biome 3 or 4 without.
This comes directly from Reddit. Don't @ me.
Vol 0 happens before everything else but only becomes relevant around volume 9 yeah
I'm so sorry.
Yea Jujutsu Kaisen is just not for me. Once they introduced the curses and the ghosts I was done. Feels like ive already read that story.
Gunna try Spy x Family next.
Plus ive still got 50 chapters of Seraph of the End. Always surprised to see that book is still going.

Was that after they finally give Ken Penders the boot. They're actually fucking rad when written by Ian Flynn. Well there's this like 20 issue dive in quality but once the reboot hits (oh yeah, there was a continuity reboot in Archie Sonic) it just becomes a knockout comic every issue. I'm actually quite nettled the reboot got cancelled.
No. Like I thought it was just a regular martial arts shonen battle manga, but with a dude with a weird parasite coming out of his hand lol.
This isn't Marvel.Future State the Next Batman's trade is coming out on 6/15, I don't have to wait 3 years for the trade to come out? And they're not making me buy a hardcover? wow
I have to catch up. I think I was around chapter 120 or so when I fell off. I don't dislike it, it's fine. But I just have a hard time seeing how this thing is setting the world on fire.I'd recommend taking some more time with JJK, though. It doesn't really play out exactly how you'd expect from the elevator pitch.
Part of it's just that the adaptation is very good. That's what tends to do it these days, more than anything else. But idk, I like the characters, I like the worldbuilding, the monsters and powers are cool, and it's got some fantastic fight choreography.I have to catch up. The final step.
I say this as a friend... Think again.
This is a slippery slope my friend.
This is a slippery slope my friend.
One day you'll turn around and be crushed by a freak accident involving a scale model of the RX-78-2 Gundam.
If you're hell-bent on walking this dark path, I would strictly limit purchases to franchises you genuinely enjoy, and not stuff that just looks neat.
Fantastic!
Gillen breathed new campy life into Mister Sinister.just found out that Kieron Gillen, who I know from the recent (fantastic) Eternals book, wrote Uncanny X-Men from which this famous page comes from:
which explains a lot as this is one of my favorite pages ever. Maybe there is something to Mr.Gillen.
