His work on Metabarons is godlike, what an amazing artist.
Still really looking forward to Bat/Cat, even tho I was not a fan of King's actual Batman on-going.
Also, October Faction was cancelled at Netflix, and Locke and Key was renewed for a season 2. I still havent checked out either, but I thought the trailer for October Faction looked like it would be a lot of fun.
I replied to parts of the thread with my thoughts. Notably, A) digital isn't enough sales to keep all those books alive, so you're going to need to cut anyways, and B) the catch up plan is going to be a logistical nightmare for comic stores.
People seem to be harboring the delusion that the DM will be back up and running by May or whatever. Most likely it won't. Demanding DC and Marvel not put out any product until the lockdown ends will kill the DM much quicker. People are asking "what if customers switch to digital and don't come back?" yet ignoring the question of "what if DC and Marvel completely shut down and then months later customers don't come back at all?" which is extremely likely. People are not going to be blowing money on floppies once this is over anyway. At least this way the creators will be able to make SOME money and pay bills.
Least Mann is going to have plenty of time to draw it now.

They would probably continue with digital no matter what solution they come up with. The discussions are probably about what to do regarding retailers.

Are they? Wouldn't surprise me. For all the online complaint people seem to love LMAOs in the real world based on sales. DCeased is also really popular (can't imagine that has anything to do with our current pandemic /s)
I've never looked into it but i'm sure there are better alternatives out there. Anything's better than savage dragon
I'm sorry if that's a mischaracterization of Savage Dragon I'll edit but I feel like most of what I hear about Savage Dragon is about how the dragon man and the lady are fucking, and also some other stuff happens, I think currently the book is about the son of the OG Savage Dragon so I think fucking must have happened
I don't know if it stayed that way, but the book definitely entered a borderline porn phase pretty late in its run. It was the only thing the series was notable for in recent years, other than the "wow, this is still running" aspect.

Spawn, but McFarlane's level of involvement with that has been all over the place over the years, including periods of no involvement at all beyond approving things, I suppose. Savage Dragon has been Larsen writing and drawing the entire time.
It was a little overkill to advertise Punchline at both the beginning and end of the single issue of The Flash I just read, DC.
