Welp. The second half of Dark Knights Metal devolved into a repetitive bunch of boring. It wasn't very well plotted. At all. With so many pages, you could have had some individual story beats for at least some of the characters (like Bobo had as part of his arc - I enjoyed that). But all you got was the exact same theme hitting you on the head over and over and over again.

The limbo stuff first appeared in Morrison's 80's comic, Animal Man. The series got more and more meta as time went on, and eventually he met a cast of characters who'd been removed from continuity by the first Crisis in 1985, thus they were living in "Limbo".

This is basically how I felt. It was all exciting enough in the lead-up, but once the initial excitement of the event itself passed, it was all down hill.

The first MHA Movie, can it be watched by itself, without having seen the show, or does it take place during a specific section of the show? Is it like the DBZ Movies, where they are just random stories that dont exactly fit perfectly in the show?
I think it takes place between seasons 2 and 3 but can be watched without knowledge of those??
Just dont watch the second one if you're not caught up with the manga

Not seen the film. If you're talking the ending of the comic, it's a predestination paradox.
Flipped through the first Brubaker Daredevil omni, just to see how Lark's art compared to Maleev's. I think im going to prefer Lark's. He just has a cleaner look, while also doing action a bit better, from the small sample I got a look at. They are both some of the best modern DD artists though, so its not saying much.
I do love Maleev's ability to set a tone from one page to the next. There was this great fight with Matt up against over 100 members of the Yakuza, while it was pouring rain. And the last two issues of the first Bendis omni was so good. The double page spread that they used for the cover with Iron Fist was great, and then theyve got another great one for the 2nd omni with Black Widow!
