Eye test will end up determining who gets in as usual, but if comparing resumes:

Bama has zero ranked wins, with a chance to get one against Auburn (15). They have the best loss, LSU (1).

Utah has zero ranked wins, with a chance to get one in the Pac12 title game. They have an ok loss, USC (23). Also will have played an extra game compared to Bama.

Oklahoma has two ranked wins, Baylor (14) and Iowa St (22), with a chance to get two more: Ok St (21) and Big 12 title game (Baylor). Extra game compared to Bama. Worst loss to unranked KSU.

8 point win over Rice
3 point win over West Virginia
3 point win over Texas Tech

These are pretty narrow wins over pretty bad teams...

Utah has won every game easily this year except USC (bad loss!) and at WSU (Which was not a great game but WSU is 6-4 at least).

Utah has zero ranked wins. They would get one if they beat Oregon, but that obviously just got worse.

12-1 Baylor would have a couple depending on how the B12 finishes out. Oklahoma and Iowa State/Okie State.

Anyway, this likely won't matter. Utah and Oklahoma and Alabama are all good but not great teams and all three would get waxed by LSU. Not going to be too upset if we don't get in to be sacrificed to LSU.

Yeah, the top three are head and shoulders above everyone else this year. At least Bama isn't one of them.

So next week is TRAP WEEK then?

I'm gonna travel to Tempe for Turkey Day Weekend and I'm already getting the feeling it's gonna be pure fuckery despite ASU Bowl Bound. Granted, it'll be the lame bowl game but eh. Sumlin will likely be fired.

Not sure Clemson is on Ohio State's level as their schedule is also a joke, but we'll see in six weeks.

Their second best win of the season was against Wake, but they did win that game by a lot.

Clemson is doing what they need to do. Advanced metrics like them. I think they're on par with Ohio State.

Clemson is hard to judge with their joke schedule, but as an Ohio State fan I am far more worried about having to beat them than LSU. Clemson has NFL talent everywhere and has line play on both sides that will be tougher to deal with. Burrow is spectacular (and has very good skill players around him) but LSU's defense is more than a little suspect imo.

Other than Alabama, no other school has produced more NFL talent over the last 10 years than LSU (and even then it's close). So the talent is there. But yes the defense has been suspect...but it's weird. They've shown they can be elite at times (ie, first half in Tuscaloosa). Most of their problems seem to come from a lack of effort due to their offense giving them such big leads.

And yes Clemson's schedule is such a joke. Not a single damn ranked team on their schedule. All these other schools are put through the gauntlet in their respective conference while Clemson plays 13 warm up games. It's laughable.

Oh obviously LSU has been a consistent factory for NFL talent, no debate there. I just mean specifically this year that Clemson looks more talented across the board.

But it's all just guessing anyway. Maybe Clemson just looks really athletic because they're playing ACC teams lol

Watching fate continuously will us into the playoffs is good fun, even in a year like this one where, for once, I don't think we'd win it.

Clemson should have to beat a school by 100 to be considered. Their schedule is obscenely pathetic.

Schiano turned us down lmao.

Happy 150th anniversary to the birthplace.

Remember both Ash and Hobbs felt the 150th was something no one really cared about.

As a RU Alum, I'm fully expecting them to just hire Nunzio and pay him 800k a year to be the HC with an assistant pool budget of about 3 Fat Sandwiches.

If you're looking for an entertaining game to watch after the iron bowl, Bedlam in stillwater is always a back and forth game that comes down to the last drive or two.

Just gonna come in and say Row that Boat Minnesota, OSU is probably gonna win, I'm cautiously optimistic that Auburn will give Bama a decent game if anything (I'm hoping they can win, but I dunno) and my Noles are very likely gonna lose to the Gators today.
