Small update on UTK's situation with Bryce Thompson: restraining order was filed in January 2018 by a former girlfriend. They agreed to a mutual restraining order in April 2018. Said he would kill himself if she broke up with him and other similar things. University is dead silent on how they missed that.

Finally, Clay Helton has freed us from the burden of expectation, and the inevitable disappointment that follows. We will suck for the foreseeable future! Yay!
This is the first season in a while that I'm just not looking forward to CFB at all. The Duke/Bama is just another reminder that my dad is no longer alive, we were going to go to this game (at least one of us would have had a good time). My relationship to Alabama football has changed a bit since then.
On top of that, Duke is going to be really really really bad this year, like 3 win season bad. On the plus side, that might get Cut to have Jim Bridge and Zach Roper "pursue other opportunities". The rest of the ACC has moved forward. Its crazy to think that Cutcliffe is the longest tenured head coach in the ACC.
