A sex worker I follow kinda made a point that while moves like this might help take away the stigma, It also sucks up a lot oxygen in the room possibly taking cash from people who's sex work is their primary means of income
We will see if more famous people starting having onlyfans. No A/B listers will do it but you might get semi famous people now.
Kendall or Kylie would probably quadruple that or more.
;)
Well, yeah. As always, the rich need more of the pie than they already have. Greed is a hell of a thing.Celebrities will soon takeover all stuff like that
Already seeing it on twitch, podcasts, books so yeah, not liking this trend but people want to see celebrities so that's the market
Are there any studies on the people who spend money on that? Cause I think this isn't pure lust and attractiveness. The pictures are super vanilla like a regular post on insta.
I think this goes deeper than that. It's more emotionally based.
I'm not going to hate on the celebrities who will inevitably tap into this type of revenue stream going forward, but it's wild to me how easy it is to make more money when you're already rich and famous.
I'm waiting for us to reach the breaking point at which using something like onlyfans does not prejudice one's ability to later participate in "mainstream" media.
You know you're out of touch when ya got no fucking idea who that is lol
Can't imagine struggling sex workers loving this. A quick look at social media suggests as much.
Woah there, you are selling yourself short.
She's really shaking it up!
Bella Thorne says that she only had $200 after her Disney Channel show got canceled
Bella Thorne starred on Disney Channel's "Shake It Up" for three seasons until the show ended in 2013. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, the 21-year-old said that she felt blindsided by the amount of money in her bank account.www.insider.com
Yep, I got friends that have dabbled in it/still do it and they are upset. It's a platform meant to give normal people a way to do sex work and make an income and now already rich ass people see there's money to be made and are jumping on.
And we thought paying for porn in the 21st century was odd.Dudes are really out here paying to see semi nude and bikini pics...😂
