Really curious to see if they acknowledge improvements or a complete fix with all the joycon issues or will they remain silent, but still fix them? No way this won't be resolved with a new system... right?

Not necessarily, all they need to share is the same rail size that the og switch has. There's lots of 3rd party joycons that are different sizes with regular sticks. The only way I see this not being resolved is if they need to make sure the current ones are also compatible and in doing so means the same terrible ones will be built into this. I really hope that's not the case, I only play my Switch with the Pro controller now because of this after already exchanging them once.
Well i'm software developer since 2005 and crunch exists not only in gaming dev. Depends where you work at tbh.never in gaming, i'd rather work for boring industries and avoid the crunch
Exactly! I'm not entirely sure why so many are holding onto their every tweet like it is fact. Remember last week when everyone was saying, "oh, it could be revealed tonight"?
They told us the day before that they would be dropping the video iircWouldn't be surprised if they do a stealth video drop about its announcement, isn't it what happened with the Switch?
If that's their screenshot, definitely. As far as I can tell (based on how I know the Amazon system displays information on the seller side), the person who created that screenshot has no idea how Amazon's internal system displays products.
I have a friend that works at Amazon. That's exactly how the CSI system looks, that's what they told me.Umm.... If that's the screenshot, they're being had. That's not how listings look like in Amazon, neither in the front end nor in the seller's back end...

Yeah, they are completely different systems for employees vs sellers. These two posts directly contradict each other. Unless the CSI system is different for someone who works at Amazon versus just a seller?
Yeah, they are completely different systems for employees vs sellers.
The screenshot is from an internal system used by employees.
That's the only explanation I can think of (if this is real), it definitely does not look this way on the seller side. These two posts directly contradict each other. Unless the CSI system is different for someone who works at Amazon versus just a seller?
They annonced it the night before the announcement. It was very sudden and on short notice, they may want to do the same.Wouldn't be surprised if they do a stealth video drop about its announcement, isn't it what happened with the Switch?
Can you ask your friend this: if the ASIN indeed exists, shouldn't a seller be able to add it as a product and not get a "product does not exist" message?I have a friend that works at Amazon. That's exactly how the CSI system looks, that's what they told me.
I'd imagine the latter is more correct. These two posts directly contradict each other. Unless the CSI system is different for someone who works at Amazon versus just a seller?
ASINs can exist and have a specific "not discoverable" status. Can you ask your friend this: if the ASIN indeed exists, shouldn't a seller be able to add it as a product and not get a "product does not exist" message?
Ah ok. I am familiar only with the seller side, for various reasons I thought Amazon's internal system would be similarASINs can exist and have a specific "not discoverable" status.
That ended up being an accessory for the Pro Controller I believe.
It's just an existing accessory for the Pro Controller.
Yeah, it was a grip´accessoryCouldn't this just mean it's an grip accessory for the Pro Controllers?
I'm confused, i thought the Switch Pro was going to use the same joy-cons as the OG. Though, i could see them modifying the design (as in, maybe putting some more ergonomical design on the joycons) and shipping that with the Switch Pro, making them compatible with the OG and vice-versa.

Apparently there is Fortnite joycons releasing on the 4th June so I'm starting to think that's what the listing is for. Obviously I hope I'm wrong.
No, this listing was originally published under the name "New Nintendo Switch Pro" before being changed to "Dummy ASIN" and then removed (or publicly hidden, at least).Apparently there is Fortnite joycons releasing on the 4th June so I'm starting to think that's what the listing is for. Nintendo : if its not broke, don't fix it!!Really curious to see if they acknowledge improvements or a complete fix with all the joycon issues or will they remain silent, but still fix them? No way this won't be resolved with a new system... right?

Consumers : actually...
Nintendo : IF. IT. IS. NOT. BROKE. DO. NOT. FIX. IT.

Unless the license a new design and a completely different one at that, it'll have drift. The three manufacturers all use the same underlying tech for analog sticks these days and all have drift eventually with unlucky people having them within weeks or months on all platforms.Really curious to see if they acknowledge improvements or a complete fix with all the joycon issues or will they remain silent, but still fix them? No way this won't be resolved with a new system... right?
Yup. Otherwise they wouldn't be bothered to make so many new editions of the current Joy-cons. IF they update them, it'll be a silent update to fix drift, but it's unlikely.I wouldn't get my hopes up. The joycons are probably the exact same with zero changes.
"There is no joycon drift in Ba Sing Se"
Let's imagine for a minute that E3 comes and goes and nothing is announced for a revision console.
