That's a low number for such a big game, good, it should mean fewer crazy trophies with crazy requirements.
Kill 3 opponents in one fight using 3 different methods (swords, bombs, crossbow, Signs, etc.)
"Ignite the gas produced by a Dragon's Dream bomb using a burning opponent. Do this 10 times."
"Make an opponent suffer from bleeding, poisoning and burning simultaneously. Do this 10 times."
I can finally start to trust that this game won't be getting yet another delay =D
Ugh, those Witcher 3 trophies were annoying, especially the ones for getting all Gwent cards or for killing 50 enemies with headshots from crossbow. Yet, I still platinumed the game twice (regular edition and GOTY) :D
Should be as it'll need to be certified by Sony & MS, manufactured and shipped ready for the 10th.
45 trophies is 'less' than people were expecting? It's inline with the average, and more than The Last of Us Part II, for example.
I'm not a trophy hunter, but I don't understand how these +50h games get as many gold trophies as platinum - 1. It doesn't make any sense xD
Should be mandatory for QA to achieve 100% on Trophies and Achievements. Looking at all the studios with glitched Trophies.
Simply a choice of how they want to divide the points.
The scope of the game doesn't matter. Every trophy: bronze, silver and gold has a certain amount of points attached to them. Game has around 1200 points to obtain, so the developers can decide how many bronze, silver and gold trophies they want to have, as long as the cumulative score of those trophies is 1200 points.
What I will nonsensically take from this, is that the PS4 version was his favourite version š§

Yes Im aware, so where is the console footage? Trophies dont get me that excited if im honest.
It's definitely the same image, but DLC trophies are always right-aligned and are a sub-category to the main list, so this is something else. Probably different builds on a dev kit.
I wouldn't expect any officially before release (I'm sure the console versions will leak early though), unless they show of the next gen update coming next year, but I don't expect them to show that before release either.
Your right they wont show it, bit concerning but next gen will be the way to go
He answered this on twitter. Its just something different yada yada (same game/SKU) no dlc or something like that.

I'll be playing on PC, but i'm sure One X and Pro versions will be decent.
Achievements are probably tested in every studios. If you see a bug in a game you can be sure that most of the time QA has already spotted it, it's not that simple.
Trophy packs are an all or nothing deal. Publishing new ones is a pain and I highly doubt this is missing any at this stage.
It actually is a certification check that both MS and Sony mandate. Stuff slips through, unfortunately. :(
