You can slow down Mario 64 to one frame a second and then do frame and pixel perfect inputs with TAS software.

Then you can replay those inputs at full speed.

And there could be some back and forth on whether or not that's a computer "playing" the game when it's repeating the inputs.

A more accurate version of the title might be "first carpetless done without save states or TAS software" but I still think this title is fine.

Ok, I was mildy intrigued, then the video went to tell me how to transport Mario to a parallel universe inside Mario 64 by turning Mario into the Flash, then teleport myself back to an alternate universe to reach a Star. WTF.
