I feel like it'll be an entirely new IP.
  • Devil May Cry 5 came out last year, so I doubt Itsuno's next game will be ready for a good long while (even assuming that it's Dragon's Dogma 2).
  • Ono lost any real power he had left this past April, so I'm not sure who else would keep Deep Down going.
  • Resident Evil 8 seems to already have the subtitle "Village".

Oh my god Capcom don't do this to me again. Deep Down totally sold me on next gen at the last PlayStation reveal and then you bloody shelved it.
