If it wasn't before they made all of the advancements, there is no way it's happening now.
This is not a new engine this is just a radiant upgrade. Even the additions that are being touted like Photogrammetry was used in Black Ops 4. Activision is unifying its radiant across all studios too so now they all have to use the same version of it so they can share tech easily. The studios don't like to help eachother its dumb cause they are all on the same team but they butt heads alot. This is why Treyarch was probably forced to lead COD 2020 too.

on a side note, I'm not a fan of killing children in games. The no russian mission didnt affect me as it was all adults but not liking killing children.

I don't see why this would be the case, 343 has done free maps for Halo 5 and it's been great.
You'll see. This CoD will be a disaster in monetization and content releases. We already got a glimpse how poorly they can monetize so now that there is no pass it will only get worse.

I'm glad the season pass is gone but I also fully expect all their usual post launch micro transactions methods like they did for BO4
