I mean, this year's Ground War is pretty odd and unsafe, don't you think? Plus Gunfight having its own set of dedicated maps and whatnot.
I stopped playing 10v10 TDM a few days after release because I was so tired of spawning a mile away from the action on Aniyah Palace. Have things gotten any better in that regard? I can deal with the other maps but having to run to the palace for the first 30 seconds of every life is miserable.
Anyone looking for an easy way to level up your HDR and ax50 on this dbl xp weekend? Just go to shoot house and hang out in the middle corridor on either end.
pff, stick a red dot on that and just run around the map using it like the Kar98 for fun times instead of camping :D
I finally won one, the legendary deagle is awesome. It feels so good to get to the final match and put the other team on their heels.
Yeah it's terrible. Yesterday I jumped on the wall with my pink Riot Shield to prevent their views. Four people sitting there doing jack shit about objectives lol
The M4 is the go to gun for mostly everybody, but I think the Kilo is pretty good too. If you want to run an smg then I hear the MP5 is the way to go, but I personally like using the p90 after it's leveled up a bit.
I've seen the degale and a calling card. Are those the only rewards other than XP?
What level do I start getting parts to increase my ADS speed for the AK-47?

nah fam. if you suck, you gonna get shit on. don't introduce mechanics that enable noobs to get free kills bc the game is already too noob-forward as it is
I think that's part of the allure of the game though. You have bad matches and get shit on, but should learn from what went wrong, at least on your end. If the game held your hand even more then that would be lame. As you stated, the games are short, so it's not too bad. Also, leaving games has such an inconsequential penalty, so if you feel like that lobby isn't working, just leave. Sometimes you get a bad string of games though and that does feel shitty.
Gunplay imo is fantastic and it's a lot less TTK. Like I'd say BOPS4 is probably 20times slower to kill someone in then MW
All I can play, is realism mode. It is just more satisfying when you get a kill. The different controller sensitivity adjustments are nice.
I guess that does make sense. I am a little more use to longer games where there is a little more struggle. I can understand how CoD wraps things up and gets you to move onto the next one.

See even little decisions like this really stink considering the rest of the map is designed great. Just the small addition of those two tables turns that hallway leading to B into a shitshow.
I had co-worker laugh, because I use the FN Fal. Its a sniper worst enemy. I also use the M16A1 I believe its called. Three round burst is crazy when it comes to headshots.
It's the worst map of the game, Euphrates Bridge at least is fun with a sniper.

I'm not comparing it to the m4 but i am comparing it to every other auto rifle in the game. Hell there are LMG's in the game that have a faster ADS. What is up with this thing?

You pretty much have to suffer with the thing until you unlock the last barrel attachment which has a barrel + underbarrel for 1 attachment slot and throw on the ADS stock + Grip + compensator for it to even compete IMO. If you don't get the first shot you auto lose unless you get a headshot because of the fire rate. Long range anybody with an M4 because of the AKs recoil will come out on top unless they're trash.
Best AK loadout IMO is Romanian barrel / Compensator / Skeleton Stock / Stippled Grip/ and whatever you want for the 5th attachment. Before you get the Romanian I used the RPK barrel / Compensator / Commando Foregrip / Skeleton Stock / Stippled. I feel like barrels add way too much to not use one and the Commando Foregrip + Compensator gives you the biggest recoil reduction that you can get on weapons. Also ignore the stats on the bottom because "Aim Stability" doesn't actually affect weapon accuracy or recoil at all.

They tried with death streaks which were awful
Black Ops has specialists to even things up. They are done well in BO3 but are pretty awfully balanced in BO4. Nonetheless, they lower the skill gap/snowballing and are fun if you just forget about all the balance debates
The rumoured DLC perk didnt sound so bad:
You would steal the killstreak points of enemies you killed based on how far they were. For example
For ever 3 kills, you'd get 1 kill counted towards your own streak.
Kill a dude on a 9 killstreak and you'd get 3 kills counted towards your own streak
This is a pretty neat perk idea IMO

$38 on Gamestop for the PC version and no tax got me to finally pick this up. Haven't played CoD MP since Black Ops 3 (and I'm always terrible at CoD MP) and last campaign I played was Infinite Warfare (which I enjoyed), so looking forward to checking this out. Going to take a while download this on my crappy 30 mbps connection though lol.
Doubt it. Even IW can't be foolish enough to deploy a massive new mode right before vacation.
I've had better results with it, but I haven't played with the MP5 a lot.
