BO4 from remember started out with no issues. I'm sure there have been plenty of steam release that have a hard time with connections. This is COD. There's a shit ton of people trying to play all at once.
Waiting for my paycheck to drop tonight so I can download this off the PSN store. Super hyped for this after a string of disappointing COD's.
Finally got past the connecting prompt only for the game to force me to download an in-game update from within the client that required a reboot.
Naturally, I'm now back trying to reconnect.

Holy fuck, white phosphorus turns shit into a horror film. The audio and visuals when it hits are haunting.
Without a doubt the best Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 2. Infinity Ward nailed everything.
Strange how the only always online version is the PC version.
And it wasn't advertised as always online.
It's frustrating, sure, but it literally isn't even "launch day" in most parts of North America. The game has been unlocked in that region for under two hours. It'll get sorted, give them time.
Campaign looks amazing. Super clean and the HDR is terrific. Gameplay appears to be pretty much a locked 60fps so far as well.
I'm playing the campaign offline on PS4. On the mission select screen there's a message "Claim rewards by completing mission while online". WTF does this mean?
Your level is carried between campaign, multiplayer, and Spec Ops. You can earn XP, etc. by playing the campaign, but only if you're online.
You earn MP XP and weapon variants while playing the campaign.
Anyone else on PC getting that installing shader's to optimize permormances during gameplay on PC
I don't understand how servers are ALWAYS bad at launch. Is nothing ever learned from previous launches?
